As of release 4.6 there will be a ppm-evaluation for suppliers inside SQMS.

Every user of a supplier with at least one role will be able to use this function.

A ppm-evaluation will be possible and limited for a time period of 3 years.

A CSV export of the ppm-evaluation is possible in either english or german.

Every supplier can execute ppm-evaluations concerning his supplier number, related indices will be selectable.

In case of existing test report series with ppm-relevance there will be a link to the specific test report series in the
ppm-evaluation.

If you are shown a ppm-value of 1.000.000, this can have two reasons:
1. The amount of parts complaint is identical with the amount of deliverd parts (1 to 1).
2. You have delivered parts in a time previous to the evaluation period – meaning that the chosen evaluation
period has its start after the point of time of the delivery, whereas the complaint of the previously delivered
part is created in the chosen evaluation period. In this case there were no parts delivered in the chosen
evaluation period or more parts were complaint than delivered.

H If this is shown to you, it is recommended that

you change the evaluation period, including the
time of the deliveries.

1 Choose a period of time for which you wish to

1 H execute the ppm-evaluation.

2 H 2 Select the „levels“ for which you wish to be

shown information.

H An evaluation can be executed for a

maximum period of time of 3 years,
starting with the day you execute the
evaluation.

H Please note that at least two of the

following query parameters must be set:
Plant, SPL number and detail no.

1 If no plant is selected, all plants which were

delivered will be taken into account.

The supplier index is preselected based on
your account but can be edited accordingly.

supplier index you can open the general
supplier catalog.

4 In the search mask you can filter for part
numbers and related ES1 keys.

5 You can set the filter for the error class by

setting a check mark on the level: error class.

6 You can set the filter for months by setting a

check mark on the level: months.

1 When the evaluation has finished you can

export the ppm-evaluation to Excel by
clicking on the button „Export CSV“.

H The language of the export is based on the

selected language in SQMS.

1 Click on the magnifying glass to open the

related test reports to the „Fehlerhafte
Menge Überschrift“

H The „quantity error details“ of the ppm-

evaluations will be linked to the related test
reports. The link is exclusively for ppm-
H evaluations with an activated detail no.-level.

The link leads directly to the mask

„Rejects/Complaint >> Search >> Test report
series“, which will be opened in a seperated
tab in the browser inside the same user
session.
