ADVANCED MARINE PTE. LTD. is one of the leading suppliers of Commercial Diving &
Underwater Equipment and Accessories in the SEA region. Advanced Marine has
developed her capability (Since 1979) to custom design, manufacture, and to deliver
Dive-System to the Customer’s requirements, complying to International Standards and
Class Code Rules. Advanced Marine’s Class Certified PVHOs, Hyperbaric systems,
Ancillary Equipment well known and respected in the market.

Advanced Marine is totally dedicated to the design and supply of products, rental and
repair services, which will give our customers absolute confidence in the quality, service
and value, which we offer. The company has established and implemented a Quality
Management System to ISO 9001-2015 and to maintain in all areas of its Services &
Processes to detect and to prevent nonconformity of products and services. The quality
system has been designed to integrate with, and enhance existing company policies and
procedures and be able to be assessed by 3rd Party Certification bodies.

Advanced Marine is totally committed to the Quality of Design takes precedent over the
cost. Advanced Marine ensures this Quality Management System is continuously updated
to suit to the latest requirements and standards related our range of products. This Quality
Policy is, annually or whenever a situation warrants, reviewed in the Management Review
Meeting to make sure its relevance and suitability to the latest trend in technology.

Advanced Marine has established well-organized Quality Procedures and Responsibilities


related to our nature of business and is available for view to the Owners, Customers and to

A Introduction
A.1 General

Advanced Marine Pte Ltd has been servicing the Diving industry for the needs
of Commercial, Military and Marine applications since 1979. Advanced Marine
is one of the leading suppliers in South-East Asia, of all types of Commercial
Diving, Survey, Remote Operating Vehicle and other Subsea equipment.

Advanced Marine’s custom designed products include Lloyds Certified ASME-


PVHO for its Decompression Chambers, Class certified AM Diver Deployment
System, AM Hyperbaric Rescue Chamber, Lloyds Class approved Diving
control stations, Class approved ASME-PVHO Viewport Manufacturing, AM
custom designed Dive Control Hyperbaric panels.

Advanced Marine proudly owns property rights for its Medical Lock Design for
its Decompression Chambers.

Advanced Marine has been using IMCA Guidelines, International standards


such as ASME-PVHO, Marine Class guidelines, to set in-house testing
standards & procedures for its equipment testing and certifications. Advanced
Marine has not only employed qualified personnel but also has employed
qualified trainers to fulfil the training needs of its own and to the requirements
of others.

A.2 ISO for Quality Management System


Advanced Marine maintains its stringent In-house Quality Standards required
for a more complex Diving Industry. Advanced Marine always adhered to the
importance to Diver & Operator’s Safety by adopting IMCA and Class
guidelines & Rules in its service.

In order to make this into a more coherent Policy & Standard, Advanced
Marine consolidates all the requirements into a well organised “ISO 9001
Quality Management System”
A.3 Process Approach
Advanced Marine inculcates a Process approach with a Risk-based thinking in
its Service to the Customers. AM has set Departmental Objectives in its
Process Approach to achieve the intended results.
This process approach is set to ensure ,

A.4 PDCA Cycle


The Methodology “Plan-Do-Check-Act” has been applied in the Advanced
Marine’s QMS Processes.

Plan – The Objective / Purpose of the Department’s process has been


established. Resources have been planned in accordance with the
requirements of Customers.

Do – Advanced Marine implements the Procedures set out in the Process.

Check – Advanced Marine monitors, measures and control the process until
the objectives are achieved.

Act – Advanced Marine acts on the Customer feedback to do continuous


improvements in the process.

The Schematic Representation will show how one department’s Process (eg.
Sales) can be the ‘INPUTS’ to another department’s Process (eg.
Engineering, Manufacturing etc.). The result of the one department will be the
INPUT to another department. These inter-related processes are well defined
and organised in this QMS.

A.5 Risk Based thinking


Advanced Marine has achieved Biz safe Level 3 for its Manufacturing and
incorporates the Risk Assessment into this Quality Management System. A
Risk based approach has been implicit in all the AM Processes.

1.0 Scope
This Manual specifically applies to the Quality Management System required for
Advanced Marine’s products to meet applicable Statutory and Regulatory
compliance, to satisfy the requirements of AM Customers.

This QMS will demonstrate the ability of the company to consistently provide its
product and service that requires the above requirements.

The objective is to achieve customer satisfaction by continually improving the system


by improving the process and its PDCA methodology.
1.1 Application
The core business of Advanced Marine is to Design, Manufacture, Distribute,
Rental, Maintain, Repair and Service of Diving System and Dive Support
system for Marine, Military and Commercial Diving Customers. It also covers
Turn-key projects and Support services to Tunnelling projects.

The AM Quality Management System has been set up the departments to

Advanced Marine determines the external factors affecting its ability in
achieving the required quality standards by its Sales, Admin and
Business Development job functions and their relations, interactions
with the external factors such as Current trend, Market competition,
legal and statutory compliances etc.

Advanced Marine understands and resolves issues arise due to


internal factors such as performance standard of its Engineering and
Manufacturing by Corrective and Preventive Actions and by
implementing Continuous Improvements in the process.

4.2 Understanding the needs and expectations of the interested parties:

By understanding impact of the interested parties affecting the company’s


performance, the requirements are to be well understood and defined. The
following are the important requirements from various parties which require
continuous monitoring and amendments in their editions to know the impact on
the company’s quality standards.

Advanced Marine has established a Quality Management System to
implement, to maintain and to continue by improvements in the system. The
inputs required and output expected, the sequence of operations or
functions, the interactions in the process, the criteria and design standards, the

Department and Process Objective:


To ensure the engineering design is carried out as per the required standard
and the designs are using correct data. To ensure design reliability and
manufacturability.

To ensure the AM PVHO chamber and its allied systems are manufactured
according to ASME-PVHO-1 and / or as per the other approved guidelines (like
IMCA) or Class code rules to meet Customer requirements.

To ensure the defective component, device or equipment (Rejected by QAQC)


not delivered to the customer’s place inadvertently. To ensure the faulty
equipment not used by anyone in the manufacturing plant unintentionally.

To do continuous research for the new products. To study and improve the
existing products, systems and subsystems by inventing new methods &
technology.

To ensure the purchased equipment and / or materials are as per requirement


by identifying the markings, record them for 3rd party verification to prove the
traceability. To set a procedure for this.

To conduct periodical testing on the measuring devices, testing equipment and


tools with a maintenance programme. To certify the said tools are in good
condition.

To monitor, control and to ensure the manufacturing process which require


qualification, testing and inspection are according to the required international
standards procedure. To provide documentation support to Manufacturing
department.
To monitor and control the manufacturing process to ensure ASME-PVHO-1 is
complied.

To do investigation on customer remarks, analyse, propose suggestions and


procedures to the AM Management to bring continuous improvement in the
product quality and better service.

Department and Process Objective:


To ensure reliable vendors are chosen for the requirements of Advanced
Marine. To set guidelines for vendor selections and deletions to update the list
periodically.
To ensure correct specifications and requirements are given to suppliers to
procure the correct items. To set procedure to prevent purchase of non-
conformance items for the projects.
To ensure correct items are received & traceable, correct items are stored at
right place for easy traceability, preserve them in a safe manner and to issue
correct items are being issued to projects, to sub-contractors, to customers etc.

5.3.1 Management Representative


To Report to : The Managing Director

Top Management appointed Management Representative is a System


Controller in the Company. He / she will have independent authority
under the Top Management and guidance to ensure the effectiveness of
the QMS. Shall ensure the established QMS is maintained at all levels.

The Management Representative, known as MR, is to report to the Top


Management about the performance of the QMS and shall seek advice
for improvement.

conformance investigation with other relevant Managers or with the


Committee members. The MR shall arrange for the Management
Review Meeting as scheduled.
5.3.2 Business Development Manager
To Report to : The Managing Director

Business Development Manager is responsible to promote AM Products


in local as well as to global market. He/she shall develop business
development strategies and shall advise Management for the resources
needed to meet the customer requirements.

He / She shall play a significant role in building a good relationship


between the company and the Customer. He /she shall review all tender
documents and shall prepare bid proposals. Contract review shall be the
responsibility of the Business Development Manager.

5.3.3 Administrative & ERP Manager.


To Report to : The Managing Director

The AM Administrative Manager is responsible for Internal Quality Audit.


He shall conduct audit and shall review the audit to prepare reports. He
has the authority to issue the Non-conformance Report apart from the
QAQC-PIC. He can be one of the member in the NCR investigation
committee and in the Corrective and Preventive action committee.

AM Admin Manager is also responsible for Business Analysis. He / She


shall gather customer feedback, complaints to do analysis and shall
submit to the Top Management to advise MR to take corrective action to
improve the QMS.

5.3.4 Accounts & HR Manager


To Report to : The Managing Director

Accounts Manager is responsible to advise the capability of the


company to meet the financial and personnel resources needed to
maintain this Quality Management System effective.

He / She is also responsible for Human Resource for staff or personnel


development through training as requested by the relevant department
heads. He / She shall arrange for training required or skill development
to meet the standard.

5.3.5 Engineering & QAQC Manager


To Report to : The Managing Director

Engineering Manager is directly under the guidance of the Managing


Director who is also the R&D Director / Advisor.

Control of Design, Product Type Approval, Product Class Certification,


Standard Procedures for Welding, Engineering Calculations and
Analysis to meet Customer requirements are main responsibilities of the
Engineering Manager. He / She shall involve in the non-conformance
investigation for the non-conforming products.

Research & continuous development in the AM Product Development


as per the Management guidelines is the responsibility of the
Engineering Manager.

QAQC-PIC under the Engineering is responsible to do In-process QC in


the Manufacturing, In-coming QC during the receipt of Materials,
Inspection on the Repair & Service and Pre-delivery Inspection on the
outgoing AM products.

5.3.6 Sales Manager


To Report to : The Managing Director

Sales Manager is reporting to the Managing director directly and he


shall ensure Customer satisfaction by fulfilling their requirements. He
shall get feedback from customer for improvements in Services. Sales
Manager’s Customer Feedback Analysis will provide suggestions to
improve the QMS in its Process.
5.3.7 Manufacturing & HSE Manager
To Report to : The Managing Director

AM Manufacturing manager controls the Processes with his section


heads or Person In-charges under him.

6.0 Planning for the Quality Management System


6.1 Actions to address risks and Opportunities
6.1.1 Understanding the issues as stated in 4.1.2, and the requirements as
said in 4.2 of this Quality Manual, the risks involved are addressed. The
opportunities are realised by complying to the requirements.

The requirements are ensured, fulfilled and met right from the proposal
stage to the end output.

a) The Advanced Marine’s QMS has been planned to incorporate


all the requirements as stated in 4.2 into its Quality Control in
Sales, Business Development, Design, Manufacture, Project
Management, Repair / Service, Purchase, Recruitment, Staff
development and in the Delivery. This is to achieve the intended
result.

b) The Risks are controlled to get the desired result.

c) The management’s support to the QMS process and for


Continual Improvement is through Management Review Meeting.

6.1.2 Advanced Marine has a planned QMS as stated in 4.4 of this Quality
Manual. The Processes related to the Business are identified and
actions are planned in the Standard procedures and in the Work
Instructions. The Forms and records are used to control the Processes.

The procedures have been well integrated into this Quality Management
System. The QMS is audited and evaluated the processes for its
effectiveness. This is achieved by Self inspections by the departments,
Internal Quality Audit. Corrective actions are taken to improve the
system continuously. The actions taken are reviewed in the
Management meeting for continuous improvement in the QMS.

6.2 Quality Objectives and Planning to achieve them


6.2.1 Quality Objective:

Advanced Marine has established quality objectives for departments


and processes. The overall responsibility and cross functional
responsibility have been identified as shown in section 4.4 of this Quality
Manual.

Advanced Marine has established the Quality Plan in the following


manner and ensures it can be achieved.

4. Ensures the delivery is achieved with quality as per the target.
5. Installed an effective Quality control system in place.

6.3 Planning of Change of QMS:

Advanced Marine will check the relevance of the Quality Management


System periodically during the Management Review Meeting. When it is
decided to change the whole or portion of QMS the company check
whether the Integrity of the QMS will be affected.

The company will check the necessity of the change required and its
potential consequences.

7.0 Support System


7.1 Resources
7.1.1 General
Advanced Marine provides Management Support to the establishment,
implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the
Quality Management System.

The Management is planning the resources needed in terms of


personnel, material and facilities, for the effective use of the Quality
Management System.

7.1.2 People
The Management ensures the qualified personnel are employed for the
in-house activities. Personnel recruitment, training and development are

the responsibility of the Management and the resources available are


monitored and discussed in the Management Review meeting.

7.1.3 Infrastructure
The infrastructural resources required for the activities are discussed
and supported by the Management. The Management ensures that the
Manufacturing department is keep control of the resources available and
well maintained to support to achieve the requirement in the production.

The Management ensures the infrastructural requirement for the in-


house training of personnel.

Advanced Marine supports by providing infrastructural requirement for


the Equipment testing, Devices calibrations. The facilities include the
following important facilities relevant to the business / products.

➢ ROV Testing station
➢ Clean room facilities for Oxy cleaning services.
➢ Clean room environment for Diver Helmet services.
➢ Clean fitting room for Hyperbaric plumping and panel works.

➢ Machineries servicing and testing area
➢ In-coming products QC area.

Advanced Marine has well equipped work shop equipment such as


Overhead cranes, Lifting / rigging accessories, Weighing machine,
Power lathes, welding machines etc. to support the In-house metal
Fabrication works.

Advanced Marine has provided the latest software technology to do


design and analysis works for its Engineering & Research works.
Advanced Computer Aided Design facilities have been provided design
and development.

Advanced Marine has custom built SAP Business solution for its Sales,
Business Development, and Purchase & Inventory control processes.
This ensures the prompt response in meeting the Customer requirement
and speedy delivery.

The company will take appropriate corrective action if the validity of the
previous measurement result has been adversely affected when the
instrument / equipment is found to be defective during its planned
verification & Calibration.

7.1.4 Environment for the operation of Process


Advanced Marine has provided clean room environment to the following
works.

- Plumbing and Gauge calibration works.


- Viewport annealing process.
- Viewport Manufacturing works
- KMDSI helmet servicing works
- Analyser calibration and servicing works.
- Underwater Inspection and survey tools repair works.

7.1.5 Monitoring and measuring resources

Advanced Marine ensures the resources provided are suitable to the


measuring and monitoring activities being undertaken. And ensures that
they are maintained to make sure their continued fitness for the
purpose. The Manufacturing Department, Electrical & Electronics
Department and the Document controller have documented evidence
such as test or calibration certificate to prove that the equipment /
machineries / devises used for calibration / testing are continuously
calibrated.

Advanced Marine keeps the standards required for the calibration of


testing / measuring devices and test certificates for equipment used in
the production.

Advanced Marine ensures that its resources are well maintained by


monitoring on the maintenance programme. The workshop equipment
are timely tested and calibrated as per the schedule. The inspecting
authorities / agency are used for the necessary testing and calibration
when external parties are required to do the periodical inspection and
calibration.

Advanced Marine ensures all of its measuring devices are calibrated /


tested and certified by qualified personnel or by approved agencies to
ensure the accuracy and quality in all the products.

Advanced Marine ensures monitoring and measuring is accurate to


ensure the conformity of products and services to the specified
requirements by the resources provided are reliable and trustworthy.

7.1.6 Organizational Knowledge

Advanced Marine keep maintain the staff knowledge updated as


required as to the current trend / standard by providing them In-house
training and/or external training wherever necessary.

The company will determine the knowledge necessary for the operation
of the process to achieve the conformity of the products. The company
will keep update of the latest editions, amendments in the Code Rules,
International Standards such as ASME-PVHO-1, 2 ; ASME Sec VIII, div
1, IMCA guidelines to the staff or to the extend required (to the
production level).

The company will share knowledge derived from past success and
failures, from analysis to all the staff wherever necessary. The company
will provide opportunities to gather product knowledge by letting the staff
participating in the Exhibitions, Seminars etc.

7.2 Competence

Advanced Marine ensures the competency level required by the personnel or


staff to meet the conformity and quality of the product / job by providing
opportunities to learn during the course of the job (On-the-job training) and / or
by arranging sponsored training (like skill development courses).

Wherever required and whenever a special task or projects requires a special


skill and knowledge the company will arrange internal / external trainings /
courses for that. The individual’s competency level, their trainings and
certificates will be kept in the Human Resource Department to prove the
competency level when the situation requires.

7.3 Awareness
Advanced Marine will ensure that all the staff and personnel are well aware of
this ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Manual, shall be read and understood by every
staff.

They will be aware of the Quality objectives of their departments and of the
other departments, to be aware of the inter-departmental cross functions /
relative functions.

Advanced Marine will make sure the staff and / or personnel are known about
the company’s products and their relevance to this Quality Management
System.

7.4 Communication

The organization will determine what to communicate and what not to.
Confidential matters, knowledge relevant to the Quality management system
are to be maintained.

All Advanced Marine staff will be aware of the controlled and uncontrolled
documents and to know how to handle them within and outside the
organization.

7.5 Documented information


7.5.1 General
The Organization’s documented information in the form of Quality
Manual has been prepared according to the International Standard for
Quality ISO 9001:2015. This documented information will be amended
when necessary after reviewed in the Management Review meeting.

Quality Manual will be amended if there is any corrective action taken,


any procedure changed or removed after approval from the
Management.

This quality manual is demonstrating the effectiveness of the ISO


Quality Management System of Advanced Marine. QMS Process stated
in the section 4.4 of this quality manual are available for read to
understand the various process of this organisation and this can be avail
from the Management Representative or from the Document Controller.
All documented QMS process are company’s property, confidential and
shall be returned after reading.

The contents of the ISO Quality Management System are very specific
to the nature of business and products of Advanced Marine. The Quality
Management System document has been prepared to the products,
processes, services and competency level required for the Advanced
Marine and they are unique.

7.5.2 Creating and Updating


Appropriate code and reference for the identification of documents have
been used in this Quality Manual and in the QMS documents.

8.2 Determination of requirements for products and services


8.2.1 Customer Communication
The customer communication begins in the inquiry from the customer to
the Sales and Business Development Departments of Advanced
Marine.

Sales or the Business Development will provide necessary Technical


specification or product data to suit to their requirements at the start of
the communication. They may be provide with Brochures, Catalogues
with technical specifications and / or drawings for information. The sales
process starts with Sales Opportunity and continued with document
submissions, commercial negotiations, Technical clarifications in the
meeting etc. until the Sales realisation and Sales Order. This is briefed
in the Advanced Marine’s Sales and Business Development
departments’ Standard Procedures in the QMS.

Customers are provided with information about job progress, in-house


testing results, testing procedures etc. during the course of

Customer is given information about the Punch list clearance, Final


product certificates and Manuals as required for the Products.

Customer feedback and complaints are received. Corrective actions


taken by Advanced Marine are informed to the Customer.

8.2.2 Determination of requirements related to products & services


Advanced Marine has developed and implemented the Processes
required to determine the requirements to the products & Services.
These processes can be available for potential Customers.

The processes which determine the requirements are ;


- Customer specifications and requirements usually write up in the
email or attachments, tender and contract documents.
- Statutory requirements
- Requirements as per the International standards related to the
Process or to the Products.
- Guidelines for Process safety and product quality such as IMCA
and AODC.
- Class code rules for Classification of Products, Type Approval of
products, Design Review and for Class Notation, if required.

Please read article / clause 4.4 of this manual to determine the


requirements under Advanced Marine’s Administrative and Engineering
Departments.

8.2.3 Review of requirements related to products and services.

Advanced Marine will determine the requirements after review of the


Customer specifications given during the Inquiry.

In the event, when the customer specifications are found insufficient for
the safe operation of the equipment Advanced Marine will use the
necessary Statutory rules, International standards, Guidelines from
special committees such as IMCA and relevant class code rules to use
them in the Product Design when they are considered necessary.

8.3 Design and development of products and services


8.3.1 General

Advanced Marine has already developed, established the design


requirements for its products based on the Industry standards and from

8.3.2 Design and Development planning

Advanced Marine, using its experiences in the previous projects, is


capable of planning and organising various activities relevant to design
and development. Sales and Business Development provide the design
requirements from Customer. Inspection and Test Plan is prepared to
identify various parties involved and their responsibilities laid down. Risk
Assessment is done for critical stages which require safe work
procedures.

Various in-house and outsourcing processes are identified and the


factors are taken as input for Design planning. The Design planning
stage determines the various stages of Design and Development.

- Assessing the Customer Requirement


- Assessing the Site requirements (If necessary, carrying out
Engineering inspections at site)
- Data Gathered from the above and the tender documents (if
relevant)
- Verifying the support documents for design requirements such
as International Standards, Class Rules etc.
- General Arrangement Drawing for Clients approval is done with
technical specifications by using all the above inputs.
- Engineering Calculations and Selection of parts, accessories,
components etc.
- Submission to Class (If required) for Design Appraisal.

8.3.2 Design and Development inputs

- Previous similar product manufacturing projects.

Management instructions (Standing orders)


- Build Instructions issued by the Management / Engineering
related to the product.
- International standards such as ASME-PVHO-1, 2 , API-RP-2A,
- IMCA for Man-riding requirements, Diving system requirements.
- Relevant Class code rules.
- Customer feedback / complaints for previous projects.

8.3.2 Design and Development controls

The design is reviewed and verified by applicable computer software for


its integrity and reliability. The Design calculations are verified and
reviewed by competent personnel from Class society or any other
independent bodies. The Design is subject to review when the operating
conditions and parameters are changing from one design to another
design for the similar products.

Necessary test required for design assessments such as load tests,


material tests are carried out as per the requirements.

The results of the calculations, analysis report are compared for the
output requirement before manufacturing the product.

8.3.2 Design and Development Outputs

The testing and inspections are carried out as per the requirements. The
ITP is used to control the manufacturing in order to achieve the Output
in relation to the Input. The results of the various tests are verified to
ensure the output of the design can be achieved as pre-defined before
during the Design stage.

Advanced Marine ensures the products it designs, manufactures, tests


and delivers to the customers are intended to fit for the purpose, for the
safe operation and fulfilling the customer requirements.

8.3.2 Design and Development Changes.

Advanced Marine ensures the customer requirements are relevant to


the industry standard, applicability and are not conflicting with the
international standards requirement.

Latest or current editions of design rule and / or standards are ensured


for use in the design phase. Any changes in the input due to
amendments in the requirements, amendments in the Class rule or
changes in the Standards will be reviewed to make sure no adverse
effect will be resulted in the output.

8.4 Control of Externally provided products and services

8.4.1 General

Advanced Marine evaluates and selects the external service providers,


3rd party inspecting agents / companies, sub-contractors by the criteria
set by the management and performance requirements. Management
has the authority to revoke any sub-contractor or service provider’s
agreement when there is any non-conformance due to their
performance / due to any quality issues raised by the Customer.

All service providers, 3rd party inspecting companies and sub-


contractors are periodically evaluated for their performance standard
and level.

8.4.2 Type and extend of control of external provision

Advanced Marine uses external, 3rd party Inspectors, calibrators as


required by the International Standard or by the Customer requirements.

Advanced Marine evaluates the authorisation or certification and its


validity of the 3rd party service providers by the relevant governing
authority. Any instruments, devices or equipment used by the 3rd party
service providers are verified for their reliability. The QC certificate of the
testing equipment are verified before their service is used.

8.4.1 Information for external providers.

Service provider for the required service.

party Service providers.

- The work procedure for their service


- Competency level of the personnel doing such service.
- The validity and capability of the device/ equipment they use for
such a service.
- Risk assessment from the Service provider and any safety

8.5 Production and Service provision


8.5.1 Control of production and service provision

Advanced Marine ensures controlled conditions for manufacturing


activities and ensures the required resources and skills are available to
meet the Customer requirements.

The Manufacturing department ensures the data and information


provided are sufficient, relevant to the output required.

The QMS Process for Manufacturing is well defined to meet the


requirements. The Production Control is ensured to prevent any non-
conformances during assembling, testing and during inspections.

The article 4.4 of this manual and the following QMS shall be used to
understand the production control during the course of manufacturing.

8.5.2 Identification and Traceability

Advanced Marine uses unique product identification numbers with


alphabets to monitor and control during every stages of manufacturing,
measurement, testing processes. The product is identified from the
initial stage of manufacturing to the end stage of delivery with the same
identification. This is monitored by the Customer, Inspectors, 3rd party
service providers and Surveyors.

The retained document of the product with the same identification which
has been engraved in the Manufacturer plate, punched in the
permanent metal parts, or welded at the designated location whichever
is suitable, can be traceable during the whole life of the product.

Advanced Marine uses this identification for traceability during After-


Sales Service requests and for Repair requests from customer.

The mill certificate numbers, part numbers used in the products are
stored and retained for the required number of years.

8.5.3 Property belong to Customers or to external providers

Advanced Marine ensures the customer supplied items such as parts ,


components, accessories or attachments which are to be integrated or
assembled later to the product, will be received, verified, inspected and
kept at a designated place with safe arrangements.

The handling of those components will be in a safe manner. When the


customer supplied parts are found as a non-conformance product and
NCR will be issued and it will be controlled separately.

Process: 603 - CONTROL OF CUSTOMER PROPERTY

8.5.4 Preservation

Advanced Marine has a defined process control to preserve the product


during the manufacturing stage, during handling to 3rd party service /
location such as painting works.

The tested and finished products are preserved in a safe manner until
delivery or during the stock of the items.

8.5.5 Post-delivery activities.

Advanced Marine’s end products can be delivered to the customer with


warranty of parts and agreements. When this product is a subject of a
Turn-key Project Maintenance contract can be made.

Advanced Marine will look into Customer feedback or complaints and


when received, an investigation on the report will be carried out.

8.5.6 Control of Changes

The Management committee or the Top management will carefully


review any change of requirements from the Customer when they
request to amend, after issue of Purchase order.

The management will verify whether the new requirement affects the
initial commercial proposal or cost. Any adverse effects on the design
due to changes in requirements are discussed and a new Proposal will
be provided.

When the changes’ request is coming to Advanced Marine when the


product is already in the manufacturing process the Management will
review, verify whether the new requirement or the change request will
affect the end product’s conformity.

These will be clearly spelt in the contract / agreement.

8.6 Release of Products and Services

QAQC and the Management has the final authority to decide to release any
product which has any issues during delivery or during Quality Assurance or
during final-QC or during Pre-Delivery Inspection.

Advanced Marine has a planned arrangement to do Quality Assurance on the


end product before delivery.

8.7 Control of non-conforming process outputs, products and services

Advanced Marine has established a Process control to identify and disposition


the non-conforming product during the in-process QC, during / after testing of
function and load test, during the final / pre-delivery inspection. The identified
product is labelled as ‘QC FAIL’ and / or legibly written as ‘NC’ and notified to
relevant department in-charge.

When any item supplied for use in the projects by the customer is found non-
conforming product it will be displayed as above.

9.0 Performance Evaluation


9.1 Monitoring, measurements, analysis and evaluation
9.1.1 General
The Organization has established a procedure to monitor the Design
process, Manufacturing activities and Testing activities. In every stage

the QAQC will have authority to release the product to the next
sequential stage.

Well defined Checklists to record the visual inspections and


measurements are set in the QAQC process.

Data analysis to compare the Requirements and the measured results is


to ensure the product is conforming to the requirements at every stage.

9.1.2 Customer Satisfaction

Advanced Marine ensures Customer Satisfaction by well- established


Process control and meeting the delivery requirement as planned.

Customer is invited to witness the specified tests for their satisfaction.


Customer feedback is recorded.

9.1.3 Analysis and evaluation

The organisation has established a process for Sales and Business


Development departments to do the analysis from customer feedback
and complaints.
9.2 Internal Audit

Advanced Marine QMS is audited by internal and external auditors at specific


interval and when there is non-conformance issue arises.

9.3 Management Review

The Management Review is organized by the Management Representative. All


non-conformance issues, Improvement suggestions, change or amendment of
QMS and other requirements pertaining to this QMS are discussed.

Minutes will be recorded by the Management Representative.

10.0 Improvement
10.1 General

The Organisation will determine and select opportunities for improvements and
implement necessary actions to meet customer requirement and to enhance
customer satisfaction.

10.2 Non conformity and Corrective action

When non-conformity occurs the relevant departments will form a committee
