to notify users if a campaign

In this interactive tutorial, we

will show you how to define
a workflow for campaign
execution notifications in the
Manage Workflows app.

The creator and owner of

campaigns will receive
notifications for the
execution of their
campaigns. In addition, a
marketing manager will
receive notifications for the
execution of campaigns with
marketing area North
America and another
marketing manager will
receive notifications for the
execution of campaigns with
marketing area Europe.

Before we start, let’s review

how workflows work in SAP
Marketing Cloud.

In the Manage Workflows

application, you can define
workflows for campaign
execution notifications. You
create, view, and edit
workflows, as well as define
conditions that must be met
to start a workflow. You
activate and deactivate
workflows. There can be
more than one active
workflow.

You can define a workflow

so that the creator and the
owner of a campaign
receives notifications or you
can specify a recipient or
recipients of a notification.
You can also define a
workflow so that both the
creator and the owner of a
campaign and other users
receive notifications.

1. To open the app, select

the Manage Workflows tile.

2. To select the campaign

execution notification
workflow, open the
Workflows list.

3. Select Campaign
Execution Notification.

4. Select the default

Campaign Execution
Notification workflow.

5. Choose Copy.

6. In the Name field, enter

Campaign Failure
Notifications for North
America and Europe and
press Enter.

7. To define the validity of

the workflow, open the date
picker.

8. Select January 1, 2019.

10. Select December 31,

2019.

11. Choose Step Sequence.

12. Select the Campaign

Execution Notification step.

13. In the Name field, enter

Notify campaign owner
and creator and press
Enter.

To send a notification to the

creator and owner of a
campaign, leave the
RECIPIENTS settings
unchanged.

14. Choose Apply.

15. To add another step, in

which you define the user
who will be notified if a
campaign fails for marketing
area North America, choose
Add.

16. In the Name field, enter

Notify Marketing Manager
John and press Enter.

list.

18. Select User.
