The first artifact I chose is a letter of recommendation from my employer. I have worked
at the same school for six years. I started my internship credentialing program at this school so
my administrator has seen my teaching practice evolve over the years. The letter of
administrator explains the progress I have made over the years in a great way.
The second artifact is my 5 year professional development plan for myself. I list out my
goals and my rationale for choosing those goals. This instills the mindset that we as educators are
lifelong learners, even if we have already cleared our credential like myself. There’s always
room to grow and improve. I am working toward taking more of a leadership role at my school. I
would like to one day be a mentor to my coworkers while they are going through their programs.
The third artifact I chose is a literature review of an article titled, “From Professional
being an effective educator. This means that instead of receiving professional development at the
beginning of the school year and then never revisiting the practices or ideas discussed until the
following school year, we should work toward professional learning goals. This will instill the

notion that we should be adaptive and supportive of our students. We should view ourselves as
lifelong learners and be collaborating throughout the whole school year rather than just at the
beginning.
The fourth and final artifact I chose is a professional disposition survey that I took in the
middle of my credentialing program. I think this is a great checklist to reference and determine if
I am exhibiting the professional aspects of being a teacher. I was relatively new at teaching when
I took this survey, and after reviewing it now, I feel like I would score myself the same. It is a
great way to understand the different aspects of being professional and following the criteria of
I feel that these artifacts showcase my professional development thus far in regards to
Domain F. “The key is to be highly selective by sorting out the best from the rest, choosing only
those items that are critical and essential to the purpose of your portfolio” (Constantino & De
Lorenzo, 2009). These artifacts will allow anyone who is looking at my eportfolio to better
