a) Discuss how student can plan for a successful laboratory assignment submission.

1. Analyse and plan the experiment.

o Study the theory and procedure of the experiment before conducting the
experiment.
o Set timeline such as date submission.

2. Divide the tasks among the group members.

o Each group members will contribute their parts during the experiment and
make the works.

3. Assign a capable group leader.

o The leader will ensure each members do their parts properly according to
the procedure.
o Help other members when they have problems.

4. Refer to the lecturers.

o Ask for the advices from the lecturers before submitting the reports.
o Check for any mistakes in the report.

5. Choose a reliable group members.

o To ensure they can finish their tasks on time.

b) How can students highlight honesty in preparing and submitting the laboratory report/
assignment?

1. Repeat and follow the procedure of the experiment.

o To obtain the most accurate value.

2. Prove the hypothesis of the experiment.

o Present the calculations, graphs, tables, results and references in the report.

3. Highlight the objectives of the experiment.

o Explain the relationship between the results and the theory.

4. Avoid fabrication during experiment

o Present the results to the lecturer before start writing the report.

5. Don’t give your report to other students to copy.

o Be strict with other student when they ask to borrow your laboratory
reports to copy. Make sure that they don’t have same results and discussion
as in your laboratory report.
 6. Understand the topic of the experiment
o When the students understand the experiment, they can come out with the
answer easily without need to copy other’s report or answer.

c) Students can be divided into small groups to undertake class assignments or projects.
Discuss how the team can delegate task to plan for the success for the group.

1. Divide the tasks according to the workloads.

o Assign more group members to execute the difficult tasks.

2. Assign a capable group leader.

o The leader will divide the tasks equally among the group members.
o Leader must guide their group members so that their works can be done by
the dateline given.

3. Capability and ability of group members.

o Each group members must choose the tasks that they expert at.

4. Locate the duration to finish the task.

o Allocate more time for the tasks which require longer duration.

5. Prioritise the important tasks.

o Finish the task that is near to the submission date first.
o Start doing the difficult tasks early as it need longer time to do research.
