Delicacious will focus on providing locally made delicacies to provide the increasing demand
for pasalubong by growing travelers in Tacloban City. It will be priced equally or lower than its
competitors. Being a new entrant is considered as a weakness because there are already existing
businesses that offer the same line of products, thus strong rivalry is expected. More than that, its
competitors have already established a relationship with the customers and a reputable identity.
Despite having these challenges, Delicacious still has competitive advantage given the strengths
mentioned beforehand and in addition to that, it will be situated in Tacloban’s bus terminal where
potential customers can be found.
The proprietors will take full advantage of Delicacious’ strengths to promote the product; and
work on its weaknesses to open up more opportunities. Threats will serve as motivators for the
partners to improve its products and service.
