What is Didactics?

The didactics is part of the pedagogy, which is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the
learning process and then make a material that is effective for teaching.

What contents make up the science subject?

The methods of science »should give all students the possibility of learning scientific content
from a more global point of view, integrating knowledge of different subjects (Physics and
chemistry, Biology and geology, Mathematics or Technologies) and highlighting the
relationships existing among them, as well as the methodological aspects that some share.

The study of various topics with a research focus, focused on finding solutions to the problems
raised, will allow students to better understand some of the aspects that characterize the
development of scientific knowledge, such as the development of hypotheses, design and
implementation of experiences to contrast them, analyze results, communicate them, etc.

What is the importance of science teaching?

The teaching of the sciences favors in the students the development of their capacities of
observation, analysis, reasoning, communication, etc.; It allows them to think and elaborate their
thinking autonomously. In addition, by building their scientific culture, Students develop their
individual and social personalities.

What is the importance of knowing different methodologies in practice in the classroom?

It is important because we can capitalize on each element that the medium provides for
presenting more creative and interesting classes for students, a motivating class that inspire
questions and seek solutions.
Are the teaching resources necessary for the development of the class? Why?

The use of teaching resources has a dual purpose: on the one hand, to improve learning and on
the other, to create conditions for teachers and students to interact within a climate where the
environment dominates in order to extract the best results for their training.

What competences are developed in the subject of sciences?

A person shows that he is especially competent when he is able to perform tasks transferring the
skills and knowledge learned in an integrated manner in other contexts, especially in the
everyday context. This implies a combination of skills, knowledge, attitudes and ethical values
that are mobilized together to make the action effective.

Competence in linguistic communication:

This competence refers to the use of language as an instrument of communication oral and
written, representation, interpretation and understanding of reality, construction and
communication of knowledge and organization and self-regulation of thought, Emotions and
behavior.

Mathematical competence:

It consists of the ability to use and relate numbers, their basic operations, the symbols and forms
of mathematical expression and reasoning both to produce and interpret different types of
information, as well as to expand knowledge about quantitative and spatial aspects of reality and
to solve problems related to everyday life and the world of work.

Competence in knowledge and interaction with the physical world.

It is the ability to interact with the physical world, both in its natural aspects and in those
generated by human action, in order to facilitate the understanding of events, the prediction of
consequences and activity aimed at improving and preserving living conditions own, of other
men and women and the rest of living beings.
Social and civic competence.

This competence makes it possible to understand the social reality in which one lives, to
cooperate and to exercise democratic citizenship in a plural society, as well as to commit oneself
to contributing to its improvement.

In it are integrated diverse knowledge and complex skills that allow participation, make
decisions, choose how to behave in certain situations and take responsibility for the choices and
decisions made.

Competence to learn to learn

Learning to learn means having the skills to start learning and being able to continue learning in
an increasingly effective and autonomous way according to one's own objectives and needs

Why students do not like the subject of science?

Why they are absorbent, are long jobs to investigate why and how, are strenuous and young
people now want everything lightly.

Do you like the orientation (teaching) of the Sciences? Why?

I would like to know what part of my career is about it, to know the reason for things, to help my
students to have more imagination, to create projects that help to understand in a more concrete
way but also experimentally the planet where we live.

What types of didactic resources do you know about Science orientation?

The didactics that I have seen most are the experimental ones, the games, the solution of cases.
