Hello, everyone!

We are thrilled for hosting all of you for a whole week. We hope you will enjoy yourselves to the fullest and
fall in love with our beautiful Portugal and one of the most historical and important cities, Guimarães! During
the week we will visit both the city and our school, as well as the cities of Esposende and Braga, which we
are absolutely sure you will love.

In this booklet you can find important information regarding all we have planned for your week with us.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. We are alone in this accommodation
2. Teachers of each country will always be responsible for their own students.
3. Students always need to inform their teachers about where they are! At all times!
4. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price of the accommodation.

USING THE ROOMS AT THE YOUTH HOSTELS

1. Cleaning will take place some time between 12pm and 6pm. Still, please try to keep the rooms as neat
and clean as possible.
2. Beware of the noise, particularly between midnight and 8am.

ITEMS YOU SHOULD BRING

• Pyjamas
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Hair brush / comb
• Shampoo
• Shower gel
• Towel (only for the Ofir Youth Hostel)
• Flip flops to shower with / for the beach
• Beach towel
WHAT TO WEAR

• “Normal” clothing – jeans, shorts, dresses, skirts, t-shirts…

• Light jacket (expected temperature 22-30°C, no rain)
• Beachwear
• Clean underwear
• Shoes / Trainers

famous baroque stairways + possible rowing-boat trip on the lake)

15:00 - Visiting the Braga Municipal Stadium - Remarkable regarding the innovation in architecture and
engineering. Talking about the technical aspects of the roof.
