● The same cancellation penalties will apply to the 1st up to the 5th cancellation in
a cut-off - Php20 for “with notice” and twice the teacher’s rate for “without notice”.
● However, the 6th to 10th cancellations in a cut-off will have graver penalties -
same as the teacher’s rate for “with notice” and thrice the teacher’s rate for
“without notice”. In addition, once the 6th cancellation is reached, the increased
penalty will also apply to the first five (5) incurred.
● The 11th cancellation will then compel the Management to impose a 7-day
suspension (that can be carried out anytime) or worst, termination. This is
aside from the increased penalties, same as the penalties for six (6) to ten (10)
cancellations in a cut-off.
● If you have less than 4% with notice cancellation rate in the cut off, the penalty
for each cancelled class is $0.6.
● Any class cancelled over the 4% threshold will come at a fee of $1.8.
● If you have less than 1% without notice cancellation rate in the cut off, the
penalty for each cancelled class is $1.
● Any class cancelled over the 1% threshold will come at a fee of $3.
Please be advised that due to a high cancellation rate, the Management may
impose a 7-day suspension (that can be carried out anytime) or worst,
termination.
If the teacher will be suspended for consecutive cut-offs, the next suspension will be
longer than the previous one. Termination is also a huge possibility.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
● If you really need to cancel your lessons, we’ll really appreciate it if you can give
a detailed and more proper reason other than “for personal reasons”.
1. Think twice before opening lesson slots. Make it a habit to commit to the slots
that you’ll open.
2. If you’re uncertain about your schedule, please don’t leave it to chance. It would
be better not to open lesson slots.
3. Don’t cancel your lessons because it’s convenient to do so. Always think about
the extra income you can get if you will conduct your lessons.
4. Please do not open lesson slots if your Internet connection is unstable or if there
is a REPORTED Internet connectivity issue or a SCHEDULED power outage in
your area.
5. Check the weather forecast and refrain from opening slots if a typhoon or a
natural disaster is about to hit your area. Always think of safety first.
