Akira toriyama

He is the creator of one of the most famous animes. Akira toriyama drew the story of the saiyayin
that protects the earth from its inception. The Japanese created the manga where he told Son Goku
that he was a very strong boy and with his friends they faced villains besides that they became
stronger every time to protect the earth. When the manga was animated, the second part was called
Dragon Ball Z, which continued the history of the goku but is now an adult. because the anime was
very famous

Something that characterized the Akira toriyama manga was that the characters were very loyal to
Japanese culture due to giving examples of studying, never giving up, that there is always a solution
for all problems and above all that teamwork is very important.

In 2018 Akira decided to continue the story but now being the producer of a new series entitled
Dragon Ball Super, leaving as successor a young manga artist, Toyotaro.

Akira Toriyama (鳥 山 明) Mangaka and Japanese character designer. He is

known mainly for his works Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball and for the design of
characters from the Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger sagas. His main
influences were Astroboy by Osamu Tezuka and 101 Dalmatians by Walt
Disney.

He entered the Industrial Higher School in 1974 and was immediately hired by
an advertising company in Nagoya. There he worked for three years but he
was very bored and his relationship with his bosses became unpleasant, so
he decided to retire and dedicate himself to manga. His life in Mangaka began
with a publication in Weekly Shonen Jump by Shueisha. Later he would create
many stories that would also be published in that magazine and, later,
collected in volumes. Thanks to his popular characters, Toriyama was
immensely popular in Japan and abroad during the decade of the 1990s, in the
first decade of the 21st century his fame has declined due to the lesser
success of his most recent productions.

In Japan, however, he remains a public figure and still lives in Aichi with his
wife and children, where his fame has caused him some problems, for
example, whenever there are rumors that he will make an appearance in Tokyo,
the office of The government is worried because in general, crowds of fans
congregate near their home to watch him go out and even accompany him in
a caravan to the airport; This phenomenon says a lot about the popularity of
Toriyama.
In spite of her fame, in general, Toriyama does not like exposure in the mass

In that same year of 1996, the company that made the anime, Toei Animation,
tried to continue with the story, but Toriyama refused to produce more Dragon
Ball manga, so he just gave the company permission to do a series like
continuation of Dragon Ball Z, in which he would limit himself to be the advisor
and to design the characters in a basic way. Thus began Dragon Ball GT, which
did not have the same impact as the previous versions (Dragon Ball and
Dragon Ball Z), but which was a great success.

The works that Toriyama has done after Dragon Ball have been short stories
(between 100 and 200 pages), among which are Cowa !, Kajika, Sand Land,
Neko Majin and some others.

His last works have been the supervision of two new adaptations of Dragon
Ball, the Live action made in the United States, and the new ova of it, on the
occasion of the 40th anniversary of the magazine Weekly Shounen Jump,
Editorial Sueisha. He is currently overseeing Dragon Ball Kai, the remastering
of Dragon Ball Z.
In my personal opinion, Akira Toriyama was a pioneer in allowing his anime to
be aired in Latin America, especially in Mexico, however at the time that the
broadcast began, the themes that linked forces of evil were badly seen in
Mexico, as to well as the way Thinking about this era was very hostile to new
things and more related to fighting with the forces of evil and that Mexico is a
mostly Catholic country. But now dragon ball is a representative of Japan due
to one of the most viewed series not only in Mexico but in Latin America.
