Re: Complaint of Vernal James against Mickey Moose

Ma’am,

Good day!

This has reference to the complaint of Vernal James before this office against Mickey
Moose.

She avers that on June 29, 2019, this day, at around 4:20 in the afternoon, Vernal
James went to the house of Romia Panot to visit her children in Brgy. 9, Suba,
Misamis Occidental. While waiting outside the said house, Mickey Moose appeared.
Then Mickey Moose suddenly slapped her in the face. Mickey Mouse also joined by
hitting her in the face. The incident has been witnessed by one Superman.

When the complaint was referred to the barangay authorities, Janus Reeves allegedly
threatened her saying that she deserved not to be treated well by the family of her
husband because of her rude attitude.

In light of the foregoing, it appears that the instant complaint is cognizable under the
Katarungang Pambarangay Law, thus, we respectfully referred the same to your office
for proper disposition.
