Why is it so Hard to End Poverty?

Poverty is one of our country's most difficult problems. We often blame the wrong practices of the leaders of the country, but are
they the ones who are guilty or are we Filipinos who are lazy?

They say, "Laziness is equivalent to poverty." The majority say that they are suffering from the fact that they have no job, but the
truth is, there are many jobs available, the Filipinos are really choosy when it comes to work. But we cannot even blame them, they
would rather choose to sit aside and solicit alms than to work hard and earn a hundred pesos a day, but for this reason, we only show
that we are lazy, the worst of poverty.

Secondly, the reasons for the mismanagement of our country’s leaders, the burden of the people’s sack. Funds for the development
of the lives of the poor are used by politicians for their own interest. I’m not quoting all, but some of our country’s rulers are
enough, the truth is that it’s too much to raise a family, but they still manage to continue their wrongdoing.

Recently, in the news said the economy of our country has already risen, but no one felt it. It still need to go through a line before
you can officially buy NFA rice, the cost of the gasoline is still the same there’s no change, still high-cost even the bill of electricity
and all of the goods in the market. It is not enough to have only one who is working in the family because we all know the prices of
all the goods in the market is high.

Because of the wrongdoings of the politicians-not all, but the normal citizens are the one who is affected, because they prefer to go
directly in their own pockets which is the funds of the government rather than give or add on the salary of the employee, it is a big
mistake on part of the leaders.

Third factor is the irresponsibility of the Filipinos, or the lack of commitment. If parents of the street children are responsible for
their own kids, they will not experience begging for alms and maybe they’re not in the street, they are not experiencing hungry
tummy.

If the parents of those kids are just responsible for the study of their children, maybe they have a bright future ahead. But they
always say that they don’t have work, they cannot give all the support in the study if they continue, they can even go the local
government to ask if there is a free tuition fees, at least they can even less there expenses if they have that. There are many things
around the corner to find solution in the problem. You just need some hard work and lessen the laziness.

Poverty and inequality in the Philippines remains a challenge. Economic growth has gone through boom and bust cycles and recent
episodes of moderate economic expansion had limited impact on the poor. According to the Asian Development Bank, the major
cause of poverty include low economic growth, a weak agricultural sector, increased population rates and a high volume of
inequality. Because of these factors, there are lot of effects of poverty in our country that make it difficult for people to live in such
circumstances.

Many people suffer from poverty. In order to avoid poverty, we should solve the causes such as unequal income distribution, lack of
quality in education, lack of jobs, overpopulation , and corruption. If we are able to solve this problem, we would lessen poverty,
thus, would help lessen health problems as well and crime rate and child labor. At last, poverty is really not a hindrance.
