La poupée HUGUETTE

First of all, list all what you need :

• A 7 crochet hook (2,5 UK, 1,5mm) for the body
• A 8 crochet hook (3 UK, 1,25 mm) for shoes and
the clothes
• A tapestry needle,
• A yarn calling for 1,5 mm hook (for the body),
• blue, pink, black, white & purple calling for 1,25
hook (for the clothes & details)
• yarn for the hair,
• Furniture to create the eyes (embroidered, painted,
or glass eyes ...),
• Some soft stuffing, (like cotton wool, or polyester).
• A piece of 30cm x 4cm of fabric

Make 1 ch and continue to crochet sc on the other side, alongside the coat. Sc 3 rounds alongside the coat
to create neat borders.

Here is a tip to create neat angles : you can make 1 ch just before turning on another side.

Break the yarn.

Joining of sections and customization

Joining : Sew the arms to the body : sew them to the apertures on both sides of
the chest. Then put on the T shirt before sewing the head to the body.

The hair :
A. Make a braid using 15 yarns of 90 cm each.
B. Then, cut about 60 yarnsof 40 cm and put them on the top of the head (pic 1).
To fix them,sew them as on the pictures 1 et 2, then divide them in 2 parts, and fix them on the same way
(pic 3). Make 2 braids (pic 3).
C. Roll the main braid up (photo 4). and fix it with pins (photos 5 et 6). then, sew it on the head.

You can add a turban : take a 30cm x 4 cm piece of fabric. Wrap it around the head (pic 7).

Le visage :You can paint, embroider or sew eyes ans lips. My Huguette has green eyes and in a very
refined way, and a touch of blush on her cheecks.
