sehari-hari.

6.2 Mengungkapkan makna dan langkah retorika dalam esei pendek sederhana
dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat, lancar dan berterima
untuk berinteraksi dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari dalam teks berbentuk
procedure dan report.

Pada akhir pembelajaran siswa dapat :

 Siswa dapat menjawab pertanyaan teks monolog sederhana berbentuk procedure


 Siswa dapat melakukan teks monolog lisan berbentuk procedure
 Siswa mempresentasikan teks monolog lisan berbentuk procedure

Procedure Text

Purpose of a Procedure Text :


To describe how something is accomplished through a sequence of action or steps. or the
communicative purpose is to tell the steps of making or doing something.
Tujuan komunikatif nya: memberi petunjuk tentang cara melakukan sesuatu melalui serangkaian
tindakan atau langkah.)

Generic Structure(struktur teks):


-Goal/Aim (Tujuan kegiatan)
-Material/Ingredients/Tools (Bahan-bahan)
-Steps/Methods is a goal followed by a series of steps
oriented to achieving the goal. (langkah-langkah)

Language Features of Procedure Text:


•Imperative form (pola kalimat impratif), ex: Cut, Pour, Don’t mix, dsb.
•action verbs: turn, put, don’t, mix, dsb.
•Connectives/conjuctions (untuk mengurutkan kegiatan), ex: then, while, dsb.
•adverbials (untuk menyatakan rinci waktu, tempat, cara yang akurat), ex: for five minutes, two
centimetres from the top, dsb.
•Use simple present tense
•Mainly of material processes

HOW TO DO COVERING BOOK

Materials

 Book
 Cover/ news paper
 Scissors
 Tape

Steps

1. Choose news paper to cover your book


2. Measure and cut the news paper
3. Fold in the news paper in each edges of the news paper
4. Open the book and fold in the news paper in edges over and under of the news paper
5. Cut the news paper
6. Fold in the each corner like angle
7. Tape the news paper sheet to the top and button cover
8. The cover of book is ready

CONTOH SOAL LATIHAN:

Read the Procedure text below. Then answer the questions carefully!

HOW TO COOK FRIED RICE

Ingredients:
· A plate of rice
· 2 tablespoons oil
· 1 tablespoon soybean sauce
· 1 egg
· 5 onions
· 2 cloves of garlic
· Some salt and pepper

Equipments:
· A knife
· A frying pan
· A spatula
· A plate

Steps:
1. Slice the onions and garlic.
2. Pour the oil into the pan and heat it.
3. Cook the onions and garlic until it smells nice.
4. Put the rice into the pan.
5. Season with some salt and pepper.
6. Stir the rice until all the ingredients are mixed well.
7. Put the rice on a plate.
