The Philippines Commission of Higher Education (CHED)
is offering full fee 1 year scholarships to study at Carnegie
Mellon University in Australia to qualified Filipino higher
education faculty and staff. Eligible programs includes
Master Science in Public Policy and Management
and Master of Science in Information Technology.
The Philippines needs leaders in education and teaching to
implement the unprecedented changes required to build
national competitiveness as set out in the Government
K-12 reform program. A Masters degree at Carnegie
Mellon University in Australia will equip you with skills to
educate, shape and influence the leaders of the future.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the CHED-CMU Scholarship you must
be:
„„ A Fillipino citizen;
„„ A staff or faculty at a recognised CHED higher
education institute in the Philippines;
„„ Agree to return to your University workplace for 2
years (minimum) on conclusion of your studies;

The CHED scholarship to study in Carnegie Mellon University
in Australia covers full tuition fees, Overseas Student Health
Cover, accommodation and living expenses, international
airfare, visa fees, airport pickup, and books. There will also
be an opportunity for CHED scholars to attend a professional
development conference in Australia. The scholarships are
available on a competitive basis.
