My Reflective Essay

When I first started composition one my papers were weak because of my grammer, my

sentence structures and my punctuations. As I kept on writing for the class I felt like I was not

getting any better with my writing. I had another class to write papers for and I started to panic

and worried about my grades. When I came to school everyday I felt like I will never get better

with my writng so I decided to got Professor Hugetz for help because that is what she is there

for. My best paper was the report essay, the essay professor Hugetz helped me with and my

worst paper was the review essay.

The worst essays are usually the first essay that is assigned on the first day of class. When

I wrote the review essay I was kind of struggling because there were also other assigments we

had to do while writing the review essay. The review essay was kind of hard because of the

research. There are different articles you can look at but does not match with what you were

searching for. When I finally find the right articles I had little time to finish the paper. My review

essay had so many errors because I did not look over Professor Hugetz feedback. If I had looked

over the feedbacks I would have had a good grade on my review essay.

Listening and taking notes to what was wrong with the paper can really help with your

grade. When I finally decided to go up to my teacher and asked for help I felt good about my

report essay. Professor Hugetz demonstrated other ways I could start my topic sentence. I was

having a hard time writing my report essay because I could not think of any topic I could write

about in my paper. Proffesor Hugetz offered great topics that I could use to write my essay. I

started to understand what my problem was with my essays. When I looked over my feedbacks

there were some fragments errors and punctuation errors. I slowly looked over my paper and find

the correct ways to fixd my errors. My classmates helped me realized when I did my format

worng. My classmates checked my spacing, my font, my heading and if I did my work cited

correctly.

My grammer has strenthen some more as we did these assignments. The papers we had to

do made be a little better everytime we went looked over our papers. As we helped ecah other

get better with out writing Professor Hugetz helped the students get better with their writing.

When I did this class I realized that I had a teacher who can help when I need help. I also have

classmates who can also give feedback when I need the feedback. There were some many ways I

improved my writing from this class. I had my teacher and my classmate to help through out the

summer one semester.
