HOW IT WORKS
PECB MS Auditor Program Requirements PECB MS Auditor Certification Package
The initial requirements that have to be fulfilled by the applicant in order to initiate the evaluation process are as follows: To demonstrate that an applicant fulfills the needed requirements he/she

4.2 Witness Audit

PECB Advanced Auditing Techniques Training (AAT) PECB Certified MS Auditor

The PECB Advanced Auditing Techniques Training (AAT) is a special designed which intends the preparation
of PECB Certified MS Auditors and advancement of their audit techniques in accordance with PECB audit
processes and procedures. This training is exclusively lectured by experienced PECB Auditors and is
organized several times during the year in different parts of the world. Additionally, during this training role
play audits will be conducted as part of the practical part of the training.
Taking the Advanced Auditing Techniques Training and passing the respective exam is mandatory, and this
has to be completed within 1 year from the ‘interim approval date’.
The Auditor will be kept updated on the schedule of the AAT around the world, so they will have an opportunity
to finish the required step on time.
The Auditor will be fully approved as a PECB Certified and will be provided a ‘PECB Certified MS
Auditor” Certificate after completing all the necessary requirements, including: Documentation and
Professional Experience; Interview; Advanced Audit Techniques Training and Witness Audit.
PECB Certified MS Auditor Certificates are valid for 3 years, and during this period all auditors will be
evaluated on a continuous basis through different evaluation methods, such as: observation, review
of records, feedback from client, post-audit reviews, etc.
*Auditors are engaged by PECB or its Distributors as individuals, and nor PECB nor its Distributors do
impose any fees for audit rates.

Witness Audit
Once approved as an ‘interim auditor’, the auditor will be subject to an observation while conducting
an audit on behalf of PECB. The purpose of the witness audit is to validate and gain confidence in the
knowledge and skills of the auditor. The observation will be done either on-site or remotely and will be
conducted by PECB Trusted Witness Auditors.
