 Chapter 5. Communication Protocol

5.1. Communication Protocol

SNR-S-5 Communication Protocol compatible with BCI. It communicates
with the host via a asynchronous serial port at TTL levels, the data format is
4800baud, 8 data bits, odd parity, 1stop bit（4800，8-Odd-1）. We use
5-byte-format to send data packets, from oximeter module to host computer.
We send 60 packets every second, and unpack the packets according to sync
bit（bit7）. Define as following：
