As palavras estão sempre em ordem alfabética (não se esqueça que em Inglês tem o
K ,W e Y ).
Você pode procurar do Inglês para Português ou vice-versa.
O dicionário bilingue traz traduções, não explicações.
Os verbos aparecem sempre no infinitivo.
Muitas palavras podem ter mais de um significado.
Dica:
Uma dica muito importante para você compreender um texto em inglês é não se preocupar
com a tradução de palavra por palavra.

Uma das primeiras estratégias de leitura é identificar o seu conteúdo:
2º) pelas palavras chaves que os textos apresentam, ou seja, aquelas que dão sentido à
frase (Ex.: os verbos, os substantivos, os pronomes etc...).
3º) pelas palavras semelhantes ou parecidas com o português, que na maioria das vezes têm
significado igual, além dos números.

O present continuous (presente contínuo) indica uma ação que está acontecendo agora.
Observe a conjugação do PRESENT CONTINUOUS :
I am sleeping (eu estou dormindo)
You are sleeping (você está dormindo)
He is sleeping (ele está dormindo)
She is sleeping (ela está dormindo)
It is sleeping (ele ou ela está dormindo)
We are sleeping (nós estamos dormindo)
You are sleeping (vocês estão dormindo)

O presente contínuo é formado pelo verbo to be no presente + o gerúndio do verbo
principal (a terminação – ing)
OBSERVAÇÃO
1. Para se ter a forma negativa, basta colocar not (não) depois do verbo to be.

Para expressar uma ação futura, a língua inglesa usa com freqüência o futuro imediato.
