The cocking and the uncocking of the machine must be done through the switch located on the external
safety box.
- To cock the machine, push briefly to the "UNCOCKING" position then immediately after, turn the switch
"ON".
The cable release or any release system, such as sono-pull, radio receiver, etc…, should be plugged on
this external safety box.
The two "DIRECT - OFF - TIMER" switches on the base control box directs the different ways the trap
moves for the horizontal and the vertical motors:
- Once the control switch is turned to "DIRECT", the trap will only start moving once the first order to
"PULL" is given and will keep on moving; it will stop only if no other order is given after a random time of
7-9 seconds, or if the switch is turned "OFF";
- Once the control switch is turned to "TIMER", the trap start moving once the first order to "PULL" is given
and stops moving after a random time of 7-9 seconds if no other order is given in this lapse of time.
If another order is given within 9 seconds, the machine will stop moving 0.4 seconds after the order, for a
random lapse of time (from 0.5 to 2.5 seconds), and will start again once this time is over for another cycle
of 7-9 seconds.

TAH--LB
ELECTRIC FUNCTIONNING PRINCIPLES OF THE TRAP 185 TAH
Voltage: 380V 3phases + neutral
PROTECTION: The protection is assured by special fuses (very high cut-off voltage) for the motor, by
standard fuses for the solenoid and for the transformer, and by automatic reloading fuse (polyswitch) for
the electronic card. In addition to the fuses, the motor is protected by an automatic tempory cut-off. If
the machine is not cocked within 5 seconds, the power is automatically cut off. To re-start, press the
“pull” or the “uncocking-on” button to power the cocking motor again.
If the problem persist, look first the cause or contact a LAPORTE technician before trying to re-cook the
machine.
