Proposed Title: Causes of Poverty in Selected Families in Tondo, Manila

Chapter 1: Introduction
Poverty is the scarcity of the lack of certain amount of materials or money needed.

Poverty is multifaceted concept which include social, economic and political elements. It also

refers to the complete lack of the means necessary to meet the basic food, clothing and shelter.

This research paper will tell us about the causes of poverty. Poverty is in issue needs to be

address by everybody in this world because no tries to something goes worst as time goes flies.

As the researchers we want to inform the people about poverty to have the knowledge and to be

aware what are the causes of poverty. It also refers to the conditions of not having the means to

afford basic human needs such as clean water, lack of nutrition, clothing food, warm place to live

and food. Is a deadly issue that’s killing our population slowly. Poverty, severe a malnutrition

and disease in many people that lives in slum areas.

In my opinion, all people that are living in poor conditions should not living in this

situation if other people want to help them by helping by giving money, food and the basic needs

that they need to live.

 Significance of the Study

This study will be significant in the Causes of Poverty in Selected Families in Tondo,

Manila with the help of the following:

Researcher

The one who do the research, to gather information and to study the research problem

Teachers

The one who will guide us while doing the research paper with the help of what we need to give

the exact information.

The Respondent of our Topic/ Selected Families

The one who will supply the information that the researcher’s need to help each other to know

the problem and the causes of the certain topic.

Statement of the Problem

This research aims to conduct a research about the effects of Poverty in Selected Families

in Tondo, Manila. The researchers hope that by doing this research it would able to gain more

knowledge about poverty.

The researchers seek the answer to the following questions:

What are the common causes of poverty?

In Tondo Manila, how many families are considered as poor?

How it can affect to the way of living in a family?

 Scope and Delimitation

This study was conducted at Tondo, Manila. To determine the Causes of Poverty given

by the research to the selected families and how it affects the family’s personal lives and to

determine the causes of poverty soon. The researchers limit to their research only to the main

topic which shows the causes of poverty to the selected families. The researcher aims to discuss

about our topic and to know the causes of Poverty in Tondo, Manila how its effects to the

families that they live in. The limit of our research is all about mentioned above it does not range

the outside of our topic like gateway drugs, depression and many more.n
