COURSE DESCRIPTION

A study on basic ways in which the lives of people are shaped as


Christian disciples. Emphasis will be focused on biblical pattern on the
ways Christ relates Himself to people and groups of people pinpointing
narrative principles and concepts.
The course also enlightens the students in preparing reflections through
relevant programs of the church and dealing with contemporary issues
of society.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1. To broaden students knowledge of what God designed us to be.


2. To help the students find awareness to some of the most commonly
asked questions as church workers and ministers.
3. To be able to grow morally and spiritually.
4. To practice what we have learned and taught inside and outside the
church.
5. To be able to be pleasing and presentable to God, and ready to be
used in different tasks and ministries.

COURSE OUTLINE:

1. Introduction – becoming the human person God designed us to be.


2. How then, do we become the person God designed us to be- in our
mind?
3. How to be the human person God designed us to be- in
routine/ordinary/mundane of life.
4. Becoming the human person God designed us to be in our emotions.
5. Becoming the human person God designed us to be in Mid-life.
6. The disciplines we need to become the human person God designed us
to be.
7. The character of a Pastor.
8. What is a Pastor to be and do?

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Spiritual life’s journal- Students of this course must submit five to ten
pages of life’s journal, an effective tool toward growth and personal
formation. This paper must submit before final exam.
2. Reporting- Reporting at the start of every meeting. Each student will
prepare a summary report. Topic and books will be provided by the
teacher.
3. Exams- To be accomplished by all.
4. Quizzes- Announced quiz will be given.
5. Individual participation in class.
