LEARNING TASKS
The teacher led the discussion about the importance and common steps of making
ANALYSIS a health career plan using power point presentation.
The teacher will write on the board the steps in making decisions which are not
ABSTRACTION arrange properly. Ask the students to arrange the steps in order.
EVALUATION/ Make a health career plan following the guidelines from the LM on page 307.

PRIMING Warm-up Activity ( 3 minutes )
Direction: Let the students look at the given illustration.
Ask the students:
1. What’s in a cigarette?
2. What are the harmful effects of cigarette?
3. Who can be affected by cigarette?
Let the students watch a video about smoking information and cigarette smoke
ACTIVITIES contents. While watching the videos, the teacher will post the questions on the
board. Ask the students to list down information they will remember. The
students are expected to answer the guide questions after watching the video:
1. What are the harmful components of smoking?
2. How does it affect our body?
3. Will you say YES to smoking? Why?
The teacher led the discussion about the effects of smoking on the body using
ANALYSIS power point and video presentation.
