I am very happy to be invited to this party, I feel the atmosphere of this party is
wonderful and pleasant. Everyone here is very friendly and sociable. Decorate your
party beautiful and quite formal. If I'm not mistaken, this party is well prepared, I
must say that this party has brought joy to everyone. In addition, good food and I
like them very much and I think people have the same thoughts as me.
Besides, I think if the group can reduce the sound of music a bit, then people will be
able to talk to each other more easily. Why do not you make more games so people
can get along better and I think that's a good idea. And the group should be more
entertaining like singing, kicks, etc. I think the atmosphere may be more interesting.

1/ In written workplace communication, it is important that you are able to produce clear, concise
sentences. One way of writing clearly and concisely is to avoid unnecessarily long, complex sentences
that may confuse your readers.

Rewrite the following long sentences by breaking them into shorter sentences, or by shortening and
simplifying them, where appropriate: (cho 2 câu dài dài, các em tách nó ra ngắn ngắn, tách bậy = rớt

2/ The business writer should aim for an overall tone that is courteous, sincere, and nondiscriminatory.
Hence, instead of writing “You must agree that I am most qualified for the position”, you might say rather
that “My qualifications in the areas of accounting and customer service meet your job requirements.”
Based on the above tip and example, rewrite the following sentences to improve their tone:
(Nghĩa là viết thư cho người ta trong công việc thì phải khéo léo, không được nói thẳng mà nói giảm nói
tránh, các sếp sẽ được cho 2 câu viết bằng giọng văn rất khó nghe, nhiệm vụ các em là viết lại nghe sao
thiệt nhẹ nhàng nhưng vẫn giữ nguyên ý tứ câu gốc)
3/ An important part of meetings and discussions involves asking and giving opinions. Depending on the
circumstances and what you hope to achieve, an opinion may be expressed forcefully, neutrally, or
tentatively in tone.
For example, during a meeting, you may wish to say something like “I think there may be a problem with
that.” The foregoing opinion is phrased somewhat tentatively, as if to indicate but at the same time play
down a potential problem.

If you wanted to, you could also rephrase it so that it comes across more forcefully; you could
rephrase it as “I feel strongly that doing that will surely create problems down the line.”
Based on the foregoing, rewrite EACH of the following opinions so that it adheres to the prompt given in
brackets:
