Greetings from Texas Instruments!

The India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC), launched by Texas


Instruments India in association with the Department Of Science And Technology
and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has provided young tech
entrepreneurs with an ecosystem and support to nurture their entrepreneurial
spirit and an opportunity to leverage their talent and convert their innovation to a
startup. IICDC 2017 has witnessed some of the brightest engineering minds of the
country giving shape to their innovative ideas by engineering path-breaking
solutions.

The contest began with more than 15,380 students from 965 engineering colleges
entering the qualifying round across all the states in India. Enthused with creative
brilliance in their uninhibited minds, undeterred by the hurdles, mentored by
their committed teachers, they are striving hard and competing in India
Innovation Challenge 2017 to build a better tomorrow with their product start-
ups.

To inspire an entrepreneurial spirit that drives students from idea to


invention to industry, helping them become successful entrepreneurs
DST has supported the contest with funding of INR 3.5 Crores. with an
aim to catalyze the Indian manufacturing ecosystem and strengthen
the ‘Make in India’ initiative. This initiative is also supported by
Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Govt. of India and
myGOV. IIMB will provide business mentorship during incubation of the
startups. To guide these future entrepreneurs through the transition
of idea to invention to industry, TI will provide technical mentorship
and resources. Coming together of these stalwarts has created the
perfect platform to encourage a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Our final objective from contest is to identify Ten successful startups
from the contest which will be incubated at the NSRCEL of IIM
Bangalore.

Design Contest (IICDC) 2018 anchored by NSRCEL, Indian Institute of
Management, Bangalore (IIMB) and supported by MyGov. The contest is open for
all Indian engineering students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate & Doctoral
degrees with Indian engineering colleges. TI values your contribution to education
and your commitment toward building a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem. Your
support to the contest will motivate the next generation of student entrepreneurs as
they create groundbreaking solutions to lead India into an innovation revolution
that will change the world. We request you to motivate and inspire all student
innovators, thinkers and makers of the country to join the revolution, who have a
dream to create something new, aspire to make a difference, contribute to India's
success towards becoming an Innovation Hub.

 INR 5 Lacs product development funds to select semifinalists teams
 INR 30K stipends to select Semifinalists teams
 Free TI Tools worth up to INR 70 Lacs to participants
 15000+ certificates spread across the whole contest
 600+ types of cash prizes spread throughout the contest totaling up to INR 50
Lacs
 Recognition for the Faculty (Mentors) of the Semifinalists and Finalists

CHALLENGE" icon. This will direct you to contest page
 On the "INDIA INNOVATION CHALLENGE" contest page, scroll to the participate
section and click on "Login to Participate". Enter the login credentials and you'll
be redirected to home page of website https://innovate.mygov.in
 Click on the "INDIA INNOVATION CHALLENGE" icon AGAIN to be redirected to
contest webpage
 On the "INDIA INNOVATION CHALLENGE" contest page, scroll towards the end of
page to the submission form

 You will have to enter details as required in the Registration Page and follow
further instructions on the portal.
 Upon successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email.
