DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL BANGALORE EAST

ASSET CIRCULAR

Dear Parents,

Greetings from Delhi Public School East !

We are happy to announce that Team DPS-East has been associated with Educational Initiatives Pvt
Limited for the past 18 years .It has consistently been among the top 10 Asset performing schools in
India. Team DPS and Team EI have closely worked and cynosured together to make children learn
with understanding.

ASSET is a scientifically designed, skill-based assessment for school students. It focuses on

measuring how well skills and concepts underlying the school syllabus have been understood by
students, not how well they remember facts mentioned in the textbook. The test provides diagnostic
information at the levels of individual students, the entire class, as well as the school, in relation to
peers.

 Asset allows students to better understand where they stand academically, and pinpoints areas of
strengths and weaknesses.

 Asset enables teachers to evaluate each student of their class and benchmark the performance
with other sections as well as other schools in the country. Based on comprehensive reports,
teachers get a better insight into the progress of each child and the entire class, making it possible to
plan remedial and fill key learning gaps.

 Asset allows students to benchmark themselves against their peers in a similar way. It also helps
improve the overall perspective of the school as it provides key insights to each stakeholder. Teacher
effectiveness can also be tracked through the detailed reports.
