TAMIL NADU NATIONAL LAW SCHOOL, TIRUCHIRAPPALLI

CLAT
The Tamil Nadu National Law School (TNNLS) is a University
established by Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 2012 to provide quality legal
education. TNNLS is the first national level university in the State
of Tamil Nadu to disseminate learning and knowledge of law, legal
processes, advocacy and skills, keeping pace with the changing global
scenario and to meet the challenges brought about by globalization.

The  University Grants Commission  (UGC) has recognized and

approved TNNLS under  Section 2(f) and under Section  12 B of  the
UGC Act, 1956. TNNLS has received recognition from the Bar Council
of India (BCI) for the programmes it offers. TNNLS is also a member of
the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), a permanent institutional
member of Indian Academy of Social Sciences, and a member of the Prof. (Dr.) Kamala Sankaran
Vice-Chancellor
Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute.

TNNLS is a residential University with nearly 30 dedicated teachers,


600 students from various parts of country and 50 administrative
and supporting staff. It is located in a 25 acre self-contained
beautiful campus with flora and fauna at Navalurkuttappattu on the
Tiruchirappalli - Dindigul NH 45 which is 9.6 k.m from Tiruchirappalli
Railway Junction and 12 Kms from the Airport. Tiruchirappalli, known
as ‘Rock Fort City’ is located in the centre of the State of Tamil Nadu
and is well connected by road, rail and air. TNNLS is now in its fifth
academic year and the successful first batch will pass out in 2018.
