Air Crew must have followed subsequent training and must be current.
Aircraft must be certified for CAT 2 Autoland (All DAH B737NG’s are CAT 3A
certified).
Note: When LVO is in Operation and RVR is above CAT 1 Minimums, non
qualified crews are not authorized to conduct Low Visibility Taxi Takeoff or
Approach.
Note: During all phases of Low Visibility Operation Left Hand Seat Pilot is PF.
Prior to conduct LV Taxi, Flight Crews must include in their briefing, taxi routing,
runway crossing, stop bars, and sensitive areas as well as special local procedures.
All the checklists, set-ups, briefings and paper work must be carried out when the
Aircraft is stopped.(Preferably before taxi is started, or at the CAT2/CAT3 holding
points).
Both Pilots must maintain maximum lookout and great caution during taxi.
Both pilots must be fully aware of other aircrafts taxiing in their vicinity.
ATC clearances should be well understood and acknowledged. In case of doubt
Flight crews must not hesitate to ask for clarification.
If the crew is unsure of his position, he must immediately stop and ask for a follow
me car.
Note: Do never cross a lighted Red Stop Bar even if you are cleared by the
controllers.
When TDZ RVR is measured, pilot assessment is possible only when reported RVR
is above 150M.
4.LVO Approach:
DAH is authorized to conduct only CAT2 Approaches with an RVR of 350M and
DH of 100 FT.
Note : During LVO approaches CAT2 AUTOLAND is Mandatory.
4.1.Briefing
During the approach briefing, the Crew must ensure that all the following conditions
are satisfied:

Check that both pilots are qualified and current for LVO.
4.3.Check A/C Serviceability using the Table of Required Airborne Equipment below
. (a) The CAT 1 table of required airborne equipment is only valid using the
A/P in approach mode.
4.6. CONTINGENCIES
In case of Engine Failure during a CAT 2 Approach, Disconnect A/P and A/T and
execute a manual G/A or perform a manual landing if suitable visual reference is
established.

In case of ENG or APU FIRE during final CAT 2 approach and no visual references
are established at minimums, AUTOLAND may be performed and NNC will be
performed on ground.
In case of pilot incapacitation during CAT2 approach and no visual references are
established at minimums, AUTOLAND may be performed, report to ATC to obtain
medical assistance upon landing and advise if unable to vacate the RWY.
