1. Relative to DepEd Order No. 83, s. 2012 entitled "Implementing Guidelines on the Revised School-
Based Management (SBM) Framework, Assessment, and Tool (APAT) and SBM Manual on
Assessment of School-Based Management Practices", the field is hereby instructed to conduct the
Document Analysis, Observation, and Discussion (DOD) steps of the SBM Self-Assessment Process
in preparation for the reporting of SY 2018-2019 SBM Level of Practice.
2. The conduct of the Document Analysis, Observation, and Discussion (DOD) will provide the
school with information about its SBM practice using the DOD criteria (40%).
3. The School Head, together with the School SBM team are hereby tasked to take the lead in
updating the documents required in the DOD. They shall be guided by RACS criteria (relevance,
accuracy, currency, consistency, and sufficiency) during the preparation of documents for the SBM
file and present it as an artifact during SBM validation.
4. Attached herewith is a copy of the S.Y. 2017-2018 SBM Level of Practice for your reference.
5. The date of submission of the results of Performance Improvement (60%) and the full SBM Self-
Assessment Result shall be announced through a separate memorandum as soon as the data on Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) becomes available at the Division Planning Office.
