ABSTRACT
 ABSTRACT
This project titled “INTEGRATED SOLAR BUSINESS SYSTEM” it deals with the
computerization of all information and activities in the organization. The system gives all
information regarding the availability of items. It maintains the details about various items
being stocked in the organization. The system also maintains the details of the item such as
quantity, item name being sold to the customers through sales department. It stores the
details of the customer such as name, address and phone number. The system also provides
the necessary reports to user. The outputs that are provided are concise, since they are
provided only with the necessary information and with a perfect format. This project will be
more helpful to the management to guide a new customer to suggest which solar system is
applicable to that customer by simply inputting their electricity consumption for any type of
customers.

The need for the system arises to overcome the disadvantages of the existing system,
which is a manual one. In the existing system all the data are stored and maintained manually.
It takes lot of man power and time. If there is any mistake while storing data in hard copy it
will collapse the whole database and also finding the error is difficult. In the computerized
system a centralized database is maintained, which can store the relevant information about
the general modules.
There is no proper error handling method in the existing system. Data validation is not
applied there. In the computerized system data validation has been done. When the user try to
enter the data with wrong data type it will show the error message and won’t allow the further
process.
In the existing system, the database administrator should be available whenever there
are changes to be done in the database Administrator can only make changes in the database.
If the organization wants some particular details from the database it will take lot of time in
the existing system. In the proposed system all kind information can be got from the
database. It is difficult to provide all the information about the items and also about the offers
and new item. It provides reporting capabilities whenever needed.
