Abstrak
Tujuan : untuk membandingkan hasil penilaian klinis antara kombinasi EMD dengan
bone graft sintetik dan EMD dengan bone graft natural pada perawatan defek
intrabony. Metode: Pencarian secara online telah dilakukan pada website PubMed
and Wiley dari Januari 2009 sampai November 2018 menggunakan kata kunci
‘recontructive surgical’AND‘chronic periodontitis’AND‘regeneration’, dan kata
kunci tersebut terdapat dalam MeSh, menghasilkan 272 artikel dan hanya enam artikel
yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil: enam penelitian yang terdiri dari 119 subyek
memperlihatkan penurunan pada probing depth (PD), dan clinical attachment loss
(CAL) tapi tidak pada gingival recession (REC). Kesimpulan: kombinasi EMD
dengan bone graft natural memiliki perubahan yang lebih besar pada PD dan CAL
dibanding kombinasi EMD dengan bone graft sintetik

Abstract
Objective: to compare the clinical outcome of combination between EMD with
syntethic bone graft and EMD with natural bone graft in intrabony defect treatment.
Methods : online searches have been conducted on the PubMed and Wiley website
from January 2009 to November 2018 using the keywords "recontructive
surgical"AND"chronic periodontitis"AND"regeneration"and the keywords contained
in the MeSh browser, produce 135 articles and wassix articles that meet inclusion
criteria. Result: at six studies obtained on 119 subjects showed a decrease in probing
depht (PD) and changes in clinical attachment loss (CAL) but not in gingival
recession (REC), which one the combination of EMD with natural bone graft has
greater than the synthetic bone graft. Conclusion: the combination of EMD with
natural bone graft has more changes in PD and CAL compared to EMD with
synthetic bone graft.
