Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course the students will be able to

CO1 Choose which parameters are to be selected for a particular


industry to design and ERP system.

CO2 Analyze the modules of ERP system for the applicability in real
situations.

CO3 Identify the strategies to be followed during implementation of


ERP system.

CO4 Construct simple HTML programs using the basic features of the
HTML language.

CO5 Use HTML programming to design web based ERP systems

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); Definition of ERP – History of ERP – Material Requirement
Planning (MRP) – Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP
I and ERP II) – Overview of ERP – Evolution of ERP.

Structure of ERP system – Functions of ERP system – Integrated ERP solutions – ERP sub
systems – Key Modules Modules of ERP – Accounting and Finance, Sales and Distribution,
Production & Materials Management – Human Resource management – Plant and Maintenance,
Quality Management.

Unit III IMPLEMENTATION OF ERP L 9 T 0


Implementation of ERP – Phase, Strategies and Approaches – Implementation Methodologies –
Role of vendors, consultants and user in ERP implementation – Critical Success factor – Return
on investment.

Unit IV HTML BASICS L 9 T 0


History, HTML Tags, HTML attributes, HTML elements. HTML basic tags, formatting tags and color
coding, Div and span tags for grouping, HTML lists, HTML images and HTML hyperlink. URL and
URL encoding.

Unit V DESIGN OF ERP SYSTEMS WITH HTML L 9 T 0


HTML table, HTML iframe, HTML form, HTML headers and HTML metatags. UX and UI design,
implementation of business logic, development of application. Design of web based ERP sites,
Exercises.
