The above laptop was purchased from Croma, Juhu Store, Mumbai on Mar 14, 2019 (see attached
Invoice). Within 2-3 days of purchase, some problems were noticed, as listed below:

1) Wi-Fi dropping quite frequently and unpredictably while surfing the net
2) Bluetooth not transferring the files from the laptop to other Bluetooth devices
3) Slow in opening Image files and executing other commands

I called up Croma Customer Care on Sun Mar 17, 2019 asking as to how I may resolve this issue. I was
informed to take the laptop to the Croma Store. Accordingly, on Mon, Mar 18, 2019 I took the laptop to
the store and they told me that they have raised a complaint with HP under the Case No.5028889469. All
that the sales staff at CROMA store did was to update some of the drivers as instructed by HP over
phone.

However, the above problems persisted and I called up HP personally several times on Mar 18, 2019
itself and asked for a technician to come and examine the notebook personally. They assured me that
someone on behalf of HP will visit my place and attend to the problem at the earliest. A confirmatory
email to that effect was also sent to me. However, to date no one from HP has visited me.

Also note that the service centre assigned to attend to this problem is one TVS Electronics Ltd., whose
cell number (9025217723) as provided by HP is unreachable.

I am deeply disappointed with the level of after sales service provided by CROMA and suspect that I
have been sold a defective piece of laptop. If you cannot provide satisfactory and prompt after-sales
service, you should not be selling HP products at all. Your website boasts: GET ASSURED LIFETIME
SERVICE for any product purchased at CROMA. Nothing could be more false as far as my case is
concerned. Forget lifetime, CROMA is not able to ensure service within the warranty period of the
product. I am being made to run from Pillar to Post to resolve my issue, which is not only unfair, but
waste of my precious time. This inaction on the part of CROMA and HP constitutes a serious case of
Deficiency in Service, and therefore I would like to return the laptop and have a full refund for the
amount I have paid.

I am now in the process of seeking a legal opinion on the remedies available to me under law to resolve
this issue at the earliest and intend to make CROMA as the principal respondent along with HP.
