The following correspondence refers:

Further to the joint inspection of the Works by the Project Manager, Contractor, and Employer on
"INSERT DATE OF INSPECTION" and pursuant to Sub-Clause 57 [Completion Certificate], we now
confirm that the Works have been completed in accordance with the Contract.
Attached, please find the Certificate of Completion which records the Completion Date as
"INSERT COMPLETION DATE" . Pursuant to Sub-Clause 37.2 [Correction of Defects], the Contractor is
required to complete the outstanding and remedial work on the snag list within the following time
frames:

dates, or it may be beneficial to categorize items on the Schedule of

Works through the end of the Defects Liability Period,
 Sub-Clause 50.2 [Retention] half the total amount retained shall be repaid to the Contractor
and the second half repaid when the Defects Liability Period has passed and all defects have
been corrected. The Contractor may substitute an ‘on demand’ Bank guarantee at any time
to receive the second half of the retention,
 Sub-Clause 54.1 [Performance Securities] the Contractor’s Performance Security shall be
valid until a date 28 days from the date of the Certificate of Completion. Commented [A3]: Note that if the security is in the form of a
Performance Bond, it is to remain valid for one year from the issue
 Sub-Clause 59 [Final Account], the Contractor shall provide a detailed account of the total of the Certificate of Completion.
