DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 AS QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR (HVAC)

 Perform Material receiving Inspection of HVAC Material and equipment as per
procurement order (PO) review Mill Test Certificates (MTC), RTA, in accordance
with applicable codes & standards like, SMACNA, ASHRAE, UL, etc.
 Ensuring satisfactory identification of material, proper protection of Ducts,
Terminal equipment, Supports.
 Reading and understanding of I.F.C drawings, ensuring that work is going on
accordingly. Making as built drawings if required.
 Checked and understand the HVAC equipment schedule plan, to know the
equipment specification and identification of location where to be install.
 Perform the installation Inspection of duct work, as per ITP, IFC drawings and
Inspection Checklist (ICL) by complying Saudi Aramco Standards, project
specifications and SMACNA, ASHRAE & NFPA requirement.
 Witnessing, verifying and record the quality work being performed by the
construction people is satisfactory and with compliance with approved
documents provided by the client and raise Request for Inspection (RFI) for
Project Inspection Department (PID) in order to approve the activity is being
inspected by me.
 Complete coordination with Site Engineer, site supervisor in order to perform
quality work.
 Making and updating of Final Record Book for inspection.

 AS MECHANICAL COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

 Making complete package for Testing & Commissioning of equipment attaching NMR,
MRI, Method Statement, for electrical & mechanical, Shop drawings, P&ID, Safety
instruction sheet etc.
 Sending the package to client for review and approval in advance before testing &
commissioning.
 Site surveillance before scheduling the commissioning date & time to ensure that
activity is ready to proceed in order to avoid wastage of valuable time of client and
third party.
 Ensuring the availability of calibrated instrument (ammeter, voltmeter, tachometer
etc.), gauges (pressure gauges, temp gauges, velocity meter, flow meter) and trained
crew during testing & commissioning.
 Planning, executing, leading and controlling the testing & commissioning process as
per Method of Statement.
 Instructing the test & commissioning crew on every step so that the activity could be
carried out safely.
 Ensuring that all the equipment is installed as per P&ID including their inlet & outlet
piping system.
 Ensuring all Electrical panels i.e. MSPs, MCCs, DDCs, Disconnect Switch, Control Panel
etc installation is approved and pre-commissioning is done.
 Ensuring that conduit, cable pulling installation is approved for incoming and
outgoing of different panels. Also ensuring that electrical tests for the cables i.e. ,
Continuity test, Torqueing & Connection are done and approved.
 Ensuring the correct position of valves, dampers (open or close, direction), Rotation of
Fans, belt tightness, pulleys alignment, bearing lubrication, before injecting the
power to the equipment.
 Ensuring that all the measuring instruments i.e. pressure gauges, temperature gauges,
flow meters and pressure relief valves are calibrated and certificates are attached in
the packages
 Checking and observing the equipment for noise, vibration, leak, high pressure, and
overheating during operation.

 AS QC HVAC INSPECTOR

 Ensuring satisfactory identification of material, proper protection of Ducts,

Terminal equipment, Supports, pipes and fittings, proper size and
schedule/thickness of pipes.
 Reading and understanding of I.F.C drawings, ensuring that work is going on
accordingly. Making as built drawings if required
 Checked and understand the HVAC equipment schedule plan, to know the
equipment specification and identification of location where to be install.
 Perform the installation Inspection of duct work, equipment installation as per
ITP, IFC drawings and Inspection Checklist (ICL) by complying Saudi Aramco
Standards, project specifications and SMACNA, ASHRAE & NFPA requirement.
 Witnessing, verifying and record the quality work being performed by the
construction people is satisfactory and with compliance with approved
documents provided by the client and raise Request for Inspection (RFI) for
Project Inspection Department (PID) in order to approve the activity is being
 inspected by me.
 Conduct Testing, Adjusting and Balancing of HVAC system as per applicable
standards.
 Issuance of non-conformance report (NCR’s) to construction department for the
violation of Codes and Standards during work, close off of NCR when a successful
corrective action is carried out fully confirmed with quality requirement.
 Follow up of PMCC list /Punch list for “B” items in order to finalize the facility
work.
 Installation inspection of different types of gaskets (isolating, spiral wound) &
bolt tightening of flange joints including blind flanges as per the approved
procedure.
 Attending monthly QA/QC meetings conducted by top management in order to
review the monthly progress done and to plan for next month work.
 Complete coordination with Site Engineer, site supervisor in order to perform
quality work
 Making and updating of Final Record Book for inspection.

 AS MECHANICAL SITE ENGINEER

 Complete supervision of site mechanical related activities.

 Material and cost estimation for the projects, monitoring daily incoming and
outgoing raw material.
 Daily site surveillance to ensure that all the mechanical work is going on as per
daily planning with compliance of project standards & specifications.
 Ensuring the safety requirement and implementation of housekeeping techniques
at site.
 Instructing site crew to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
 Allocating the crew as per their capability of doing work and potential.
 Providing the latest tools, equipment and machinery to workers in order to get
the quality production and instructing the workers about the importance of
quality work.
 Supervision and explanation of site situation during site audit of top management.
 Reading & understanding of construction drawings and ensuring that work is
going on accordingly.
 Complete coordination with site supervisor and foreman in order to achieve
targets safely, smoothly and efficiently.
 Attending weekly and monthly meetings with top management in order to have a
look on previous and upcoming targets.
 Making daily progress report for top management.
