-Introduction.
The hydraulic cabinet is constructed exclusively to work a cylinder or an equal function in connection
with a fan blade angle control system.
The hydraulic system consists of two pumps, one operating and one stand-by pump each supplying a
flow of 10-12 l/min. at a rated pressure of 120 bar.
From the pump the oil runs through a double filter to the fan.
From the fan the oil runs through a water cooler back to the reservoir.

MODEL/REFERENCE
When receiving the cabinet, check for transport damages by visual inspection of the surfaces. There
should be no scratches on the paint.
- Hydraulic systems are pressurised, they can explode, and they can cause severe
personal injury if improperly dismantled. To reduce the risk of explosion, always
depressurise the system completely before disassembly.
- Hydraulic fluid may cause skin rashes or be otherwise harmful to health. Avoid
prolonged contact with skin. Wash off thoroughly after contact. It is essential to
follow the handling safety instructions from the oil supplier.
- Protect the environment.
- Handling and disposing of oil is subject to statutory regulations.
-Storing.
-Before installation.
The cabinet must be stored indoor, in order to prevent corrosion of components and penetration of
water into tank reservoir. For the same reason all hydraulic connection ports must be closed tightly so
no water can enter.
-After installation.
Please note, that if the hydraulic hoses and the electrical wiring from the hydraulic cabinet are
disconnected, the cabinet must be stored as stated under “Before installation”.
When the cabinet has not been in operation for more than 1 month, the following procedure must be
carried out.
1. Empty reservoir for water through valve, KKS: AA501. Empty until oil is coming through valve.
2. Fill in new oil through 10μm absolute filter, until oil level has been reached.
3. Start motor KKS: AP001-m01.
4. Let motor run for 1 hour
5. Stop motor.
6. Repeat procedure from Pos. 3 for motor KKS: AP002-m01.
When the hydraulic cabinet has not been in use for more than 5 months the following procedure must
be carried out.
This procedure must be repeated every 1 month the cabinet is not in use.

Preparation of pipes:
It is most important that all pipe work used in the hydraulic system is internally clean and completely
free from rust or scale. Tubing must not be welded or brazed after assembly.
All sharp edges and burrs must be removed from the end of the pipes. Threaded fittings should be
inspected for cleanliness and when a tape or liquid sealant is used, the two end treads should be left
bare. Always leave the temporary seals that we have provided in the ports of the package system until
you are just ready to fit the appropriate pipe work. This will help to keep the system clean.
Ensure that the system is thoroughly cleaned internally and that the drain cock is closed before filling
it with oil. Be sure that you have the correct fluid and that it is completely clean.
When transferring fluid from the barrel to the system you must use a portable pumping unit
incorporating an efficient and fine filter (max. 10μm). Every possible precaution should be taken to
prevent dirt entering the system. Start by cleaning around the end of the barrel before removing the
bung and then inspect the content to see that it has not already been contaminated, by condensation for
example. Check that the shut-off valve in the tank is closed. See that the tank filler entry and the
equipment to be used for the transfer are scrupulously clean. Do not fill the tank above the max. sign
at the level indicator. After filling make sure that the filler caps are correctly replaced.
Before start.
Start.
1. Jog start the pump AP001, and check that the direction of rotation is correct for the pump.
2. Check that the elements in filter AZ001, are still clean.
• Start the motor, and the pump will create a flow, which is let through the double filter AZ001, to the
consumer.
• For using pressure switches CP001 & CP101, open needle valves AA304 and AA305. Turn
counterclockwise.
•For using pressure gauge CP002, open manometer valve, A303. Turn counterclockwise.
•To use pressure connectors AA311 and AA312, take off the cap and screw opposite part onto thread.
Thread M16 x 2.
1. Pull the switchover lever and switch over to the second filter.
2. Open the vent valve on the filterhalf taken out of operation to reduce the pressure.
3. Unscrew the filter and remove the filter element with slight rotation, from the centering spigot on
the head.
4. Using a light rotation movement, place a new filter element on the centering spigot.
5. Check the O-ring in the filter housing and replace when damaged or worn.
6. Screw on the filter bowl and tighten the hexagon with an appropriate tool.
7. Switch the lever, and ventilate the filter by opening the vent valve until oil appears.
Electric switches.
Lack of pressure.
Excessive temperature.
• Make sure that the water supply is flowing through the water cooler, the water outlet pipe should feel
warmer than the inlet, and the oil outlet pipe should feel cooler than the oil inlet.
• Make sure that the relief valve is working properly.
• Check that the oil viscosity is correct according to specification.
Noise.
-Safety.
When selecting pipes, hoses, connectors and flanges, ensure that the pressure rating is appropriate.
The cabinet must not be started before the piping for the hydraulic and the cabling for the electric have
been done.
It is not allowed to start up the cabinet before the start-up procedure has been gone through.
Maintenance.
The practice of planned maintenance at fixed intervals using a logbook is strongly recommended.
Sampling frequency.
• After flushing of system before start up.
• Every 6 months.
• If system is in distress.
• When there is alarm from the clogging switch CP201.
When there is alarm from CP201 or the system is in distress, always find out what the reason is.
The filter element has to be changed, when there is alarm from the clogging switch, CP201, latest after
12 months.
1. Pull the switch-over lever and switch over to the second filter.
2. Open the vent valve on the filterhalf taken out of operation to reduce the pressure.
3. Unscrew the filter and remove the filter element with slight rotation, from the centering spigot on
the head.
4. Using a light rotation movement, place a new filter element on the centering spigot.
5. Check O-ring in the filter housing and replace when damaged or worn.
6. Screw on the filter bowl and tighten the hexagon with appropriate tool.
7. Switch the lever, and ventilate the filter by opening the vent valve until oil appears.
