III. INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURE:

A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson


 What is the most common problem of young people
nowadays?
 As a young person, how can you solve the problem that you
had just mentioned?
 Clap hands for those students who answered the questions

B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson: Match Me!

Students will be given cartolina strips that contain clauses.


They have to find their partners to form a complete sentence.

C. Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson

Teacher will process the students’ answers.


Teacher will ask questions to the students that will lead them to
identifying the problem or the solution in the sentences that
they formed.

IV. Evaluation:

Read the paragraph below. Using the problem – solution map, identify
the problems and give possible solutions.

Obesity has become a major health issue worldwide, and this


problem is aggravated by the lack of physical activity in large
segments of the population. In addition to healthier eating habits, one
solution would be to make it easier for obese people to exercise on a
daily basis. This could be done at work, before and after the shift, to
ensure full participation in the program. This program would be
beneficial especially to obese employees as they would be required to
participate twice daily to help decrease obesity.

V. Assignment:

Make a Semantic Web about the problem that you have encountered
lately. Include also the solutions that you attempted to do to solve the
said problem. Observe proper capitalization, punctuation marks and
correct grammar. Make a design to beautify your work.
