''BEYOND THE BLACKBOARD''(Reflection)

After I watch this movie I realized that the movie is very relatable for us students
who are aspiring to become an educator. It highlighted most of the problems a teacher
would face his/her profession. it showed us what we need to overcome those hurdles in
our life. it is recommended not only to those teacher-aspirants like me, but also to other
people. a willingness and helping other people and selflessness is really needed to
make the world a better place. just like what Mrs. Stacey did or what the movie all
about .
It is very inspiring movie, like she work or teach by vocation .She loved to teach
because it is her dream and that helped her to make the difference. She has a lot of a
good character as a teacher, she is dedicated and committed to her job. also she
touches lives to the students ,parents and also the people who are living in the shelter.
also I can say that Mrs. Stacey does not only taught her children academic but also
important values that influences them to be a better person and that's why they also
learn to love one another. She sacrifices a lot for them.
I realized that teaching is doesn't end with standing in front, talking, sharing
knowledge, discussing, and giving exams , and computing grades of the students also
We must teach them with all our heart, help them grow and show them that the subject
they are studying today would be useful for them in the future and taking action.
and the scene that is most unforgettable for me is when Mrs. Stacey dedicated
must of her life into the school with no Name .She have efforts in making their
classroom , look like a real classroom . She used her own resources in providing the
necessary changes to the classroom with the help of some of the parents of the children
in the shelter, like she paint, arranges the things of the classroom, provides school
supplies so that the students would like to study and feel secure, also giving snack for
her students. and she solve the problem like she's the one who conduct first Parents-
Teacher's meeting for the good of the school especially their student , conducted
summer class so that the children with their parents will have bonding each other and
also addressed basic needs of the school to the superintendent to provide basic
necessities of the school like desks, chair, lamps, books and etc. that is useful for their
learning to happen.
This movie is also about no exception if you are poor or rich. just like what Mrs.
Stacey does. and I can say that She attach for them, also the homeless children gave
their love and little gift to Mrs. Stacey in return her teaching and love especially when
Mrs. Stacey give birth her child .I think their student or who live in the shelter become
her second family. She makes a different to her student, she is a great teacher ,
inspiring , and effective teacher.

and her award for ''GREAT PUBLIC SERVICE'' is very worth it , it is very
inspiring and her life have extraordinary impact especially to the student and to us
aspirant teacher.
