ABSTRACT

National Engineering Industries Ltd. Designs and Manufactures Bearings and its equipment.
It manufactures more than 150 Million bearings annually in more than 1000 bearings in its
4 plants in India. In every industry, there are factors which affect the growth of the industry.
These factors include the lack of communication, poor maintenance, lack of space which
causes trouble in Material handling, etc. In this project, we have studied and analyzed the
material handling system and proposed changes to some of their issues. We have curated a
Checklist for workers which will help them. While some of the conveyer belt were damaged,
so we suggested the respective department for repairing by padding. There was lack of
communication due to improper methodology, so Material Handling operator must be
trained.
