achieved via his collegiate indoor
record in February, Otterdahl
will need to finish in the top three in Des Moines to
claim a spot at the World Championships.
Otterdahl is the only NDSU track & field athlete
to ever earn four All-America honors in the same year.
He was named the USTFCCCA National Men’s Indoor
Field Athlete of the Year after setting the all-time
collegiate record in the shot put and ranking fifth in
collegiate history in the weight throw.
