1st Round:

5 units LRBCs
• Group "0" (0 Neg if female <50)
• Type-specific based on sample from current visit
QI
• or Crossmatched with current sample

4 units FFP ("AB" if type unknown)

1 unit Platelet Pheresis

2nd Round:

5 units LRBCs

4 units FFP

1 unit Platelet Pheresis

1 Pool (5-pack) of Cryoprecipitate

Repeat Rounds 1 & 2 until bleeding stabilizes

NOTES: -Adjust based on physician orders and product inventory

-Consider switching to Rh Pos with Path approval after:
• 10 units, type is Rh Neg, pt is male or female >50
• 20 units, type is Rh Neg, pt is female <50
