Amber nearly died while giving birth to her daughter. And in that moment,
guess what emotion she primarily felt? Fear? Worry? No. In fact, at first
she felt ANGER. Anger at the fact that she had spent the last years of her
life stressing about a career she wasn’t in love with, instead of optimizing
for spending time with her loved ones, or appreciating what she already
had. And then – after the anger had faded – she felt only LOVE. Blissful,
gracious love. She realized that she had been thinking about money and her
career in all the wrong ways. Money was mastering her mind, instead of the
other way around. And so, with this book she will share her secrets as to
how you can reverse this power dynamic, and take control of your financial
behaviors, attitudes, and overall well-being.

DREAMING
PRINCIPLE
BIG
First off, you need to understand that money is a tool. Nothing more.
Nothing less. But a tool for what? For, well, everything. And the easiest way
to understand this principle in action is to ask yourself a question: What
would your life look like if money was not an option or obstacle?
What would your body look like? Would you travel more? What would you
do on your weekends? What kind of house would you own? Or houses?
Where would you live? What would your relationships feel like? Who would
you hire to help you live your life easier?
And better yet, what would you NOT do?
In order to change your relationship with money, you first must change
your mindset about money. Instead of viewing it as a thing in and of itself,
imagine it as being a conduit for the life you deserve to live. This alone, is
the fundamental key to growing a life of joy and fulfillment.
YOUR MONEY
PRINCIPLE
MEMORY LANE
Amber remembers a time when her father lost his job. She remembers the
weight that her mother felt. Though, instead of being sad, she got tough.
She tried to figure out ways she would be able to save the family, ways that
she could make money.
She also remembers running her first business—that she was ultimately
responsible. How often have you relived stories that didn’t belong to you?
Are you, possibly, living out and perpetuating those realities TODAY? If
so, you must cut this out. What happened in your financial life in the past
(even if you were a child) should not define you now.
Instead, choose to choose. You are capable of deciding what type of financial
life you want to live. But the first step is knowing WHY you think the way
you do now. This is the sum of events like the ones Amber experienced
(parents struggling… or thriving!), the language and attitude toward money
used by those who raised you, and the different media portrayals of wealth
you consumed in your formative years. It’s a complex conglomerate of
experience and development, but it can all be reconciled if you just choose
to change your mindset.
BECOMEPRINCIPLE
A MONEY MAGNET
What would you do if you learned that you had 6 months to live starting
today? What would you care about? Who would you spend time with?
Would you still be doing what you’re doing? This can be a revolutionary
question.
We must look back to flash forward… get clear about our very first money
memory. What is yours and how could that have possibly shaped your idea
of money?
Whose money story have you been living to this point in time? And what
story do you want to start living right now?
QUESTIONS & EXERCISES
When do you find yourself living in abundance? How can you act in that
way more often?
In what ways do you live in a scarcity mindset? In what ways do you live
with an abundancy mindset? How can you remind yourself that the world is
abundant more often? And then act into that reality?
Look around right now. What are you grateful for? What abundance is
already around you in this moment?
YOU’VE MADE IT!
CONGRATULATIONS!
