Module Identification Explanation

In some cases the events were deleted from the queue after restart of the central unit. This
System TFS 29556 has been corrected.
The session timeout handling is also active in case of inactive external time
Security TFS 31044 synchronization.
IEC103 TFS 31097 In case of active maintenance mode raising and also falling IEC 103 events are generated.
Correction of incorrect event generation in FCT/SCT/SPR timing supervision by the
Diagnostic TFS 31103 diagnosis software (Minor_Error;188, 189 and 190).
TFS 31208
System TFS 31172 REB500 now also support a single bus bar in case IEC 61850 is configured.
Robustnes TFS 31249 No reboot of CU when connecting to Web server via intercepting Proxy Burp.
Recommendation to use rate limiter on the switch which connected to the X1001, X1002 in
“Security Deployment Guideline”. Because BBP blocks if Package rate on station bus

Malfunction
In case of a PCP-Error condition an additional extended BU event (BBP Minor_Error 040)
TFS 31389 indicates which bay unit had a current change and in addition a General Start DR is

Central unit output signal '41835_Test generator active' will be set in case of activation of
test generator functionality, even there are other signals configured to the same output
System TFS 31560 channel.
System TFS 31990 Improved analogue sample timeout supervision (DIA Minor_Error 190).
LHMI TFS 31989 Ä, Ö, Ü, ä, ö and ü are now shown on the LHMI500 display of the Feeder names.
The indication of missing SNTP time synchronization was improved. (Same behaviour as

If a modified Boot line is detected during start up, then is corrected so that next boot will not
block. This corrects an error where the IED ended up in a reboot loop because the start up

TFS 33615 After start-up, a pre-engineered BU does not perform continuous restarts but remains in a
System not active, stable state.
IEC 61850 TFS 34403 Str.dirGeneral was not mapped correct. This has been corrected.

3.4 Known Issues

Module Identification Explanation
Monitoring TFS 7527 The disturbance recorder has reduced accuracy at low frequency (<10Hz). Signals with DC
offset may have distortion.
Communication TFS 7982 Disturbance record may not exceed 1 second (per one disturbance record) if uploaded over
IEC103.
Communication TFS 8179 There is no default configuration for the In Service output CR01. The Signal
21805_In_Service or 41810_In_Service must be configured if In_Service CR01 is needed.
System TFS 8613 Trip coil supervision function is not supported.
System TFS 8779 In cases where a configuration is not covered by the license of the device. The central unit
has to be rebooted and the set file must be deleted manually using the maintenance menu
of the LHMI.
Communication TFS 8928 Port 8401/tcp on the X1000 interface can handle only 9 simultaneous TCP connections at a
time.
Communication TFS 8929 Telnet session to SFTP server port on the Lan X1000 interface leaks SSH protocol version
in its greeting banner (“SSH-2.0-IPSSH-6.8.0”).
System TFS 9802 Standalone mode of a bay unit is always accompanied by warning message "RPB
Interruption" on LHMI.
System TFS 14718 Simultaneous use of CPU Load indication on several bay units slows down communication
with HMI500.
System TFS 17994 Changing of system frequency (50Hz/60Hz) or changing of bus cycle time (4,6,8,10ms)
requires a manual reboot of all bay units.
System TFS 18524 The system may be blocked by differential current alarm in case where the external switch
is rebooted and at the time window a bus bar fault appears.
Communication TFS 18575 The maximum interruption time in the auxiliary DC voltage without resetting the IED refers
to Bay Unit and Central unit IED only. The interruption time of the external switch may
differ.
System TFS 24311 If a BU reconnects to the CU (after a restart or a communication interruption) the BU state
becomes valid -> invalid -> valid sometimes.
System TFS 25231 For bus cycle 6.67ms and 8.33 ms the BPP “Isolator Operating Time“ is not correct if the
system frequency is set to 60Hz. For all system 50Hz and bus cycle 10ms at 60Hz it is
correct.
HMI500 TFS 20618 It is not possible to change BU device type using HMI500
Communication TFS 26088 When using PRP, the substation automation system (SAS) has to run in PRP mode
"duplicate discard".
System TFS 27978 There is a Security event "Log-in failed - unknown user" when the HMI connects to the
REB500 before the User enters his credentials. This is due to the fact that the HMI500
issues a "get device ID" call.
System TFS 34301 DE170705-24482 REB500 unexpected minor error 177 during short supply interuption <
