July 15-18, 22-25 HISTORY OF THE WORLD – UNIT IV _ GLOBAL
UNITY

IDEOLOGIES IN ASIAN COUNTRIES, HUMAN RIGHTS

The students will:


ENGAGE 1. Think of one country in the world that they like.
2. Make an essay about the ideology they prefer.
3. They can use any materials like cartolina, manila paper.
4. Present it to the class for 3mins.

EXPLORE  Use the map of the world to point where those places are.

The teacher will discuss certain topics. He will include brief history.

EXPLAIN Group Activity:

a) Divide the class into six groups.


b) Study and identify the countries which have the same ideologies.

ELABORATE Oral recitation: The teacher will point a specific place and student will tell what they have
learn from the lessons.

The students will:

ENGAGE 1. Write their reaction on the topic.

2. Read it to class for 2-3mins.

Assignment: Make an opinion on the below paragraphs/statements.


 “A mother with repeated pregnancies exposes her body to illness. More so if

strain from taking care of a big herd.”
Activity:

EXPLAIN a. Students will divide into two groups.


b. They defend on whether the church is right or wrong in prohibiting the use of artificial
family planning methods.

2. Explain it in class.

3. Give suggestions on what they can do to take care of the environment.

 Make a short dialogue about the effects of technology on the world, particularly on the
Philippines.
EXPLORE  Research about globalization. Relate it with the existing economic policies of our country.
Report

EXPLAIN  The teacher will continue to discuss Issues and problems in the Utilization of Technology
and Globalization.

Group Activity:
 Debate on the effects of globalization to the world in general and to the Philippines in
ELABORATE particular.

Aug.26-29 RACIAL DISCRIMINATION

DISCORD BETWEEN ISRAEL AND PALESTINE

The student will:

ENGAGE  Make a reaction on the quotation. “War is never a solution to a peace problem.”

 Make a poster that condemns the war and terrorism in different parts of the world. Post it in

EXPLORE  Use the map of the world to point Israel and Palestine where those places are.

Group Activity: Think, Pair, Share

 Talk about the different and common discrimination and discord between two countries.
 Make a big table that shows the common government in Asia.
EXPLAIN  Define and describe racial discrimination and discord between the two countries.

ELABORATE Oral recitation: Point out similarities and differences between discrimination and racism.
