Operator’s receipt of the following email indicates a request for required information by Chevron’s Marine
Assurance team is needed in order to process a nominated vessel clearance.

Accessing the portal directly

1. Click on the link below highlighted in yellow

2. You now have access to the Chevron Communications Portal


Please note the communication is specific to a nominated clearance. Information provided should only be in
response to this specific clearance.

Accessing the portal via the Token


If there are any issues accessing the Portal via the previous method, you may alternatively access the site with the
following:

1. Copy the Token number provided at the end of the email.

2. Click on the link highlighted (directly above the token).


3. Paste the token number into the communication portal window

4. Click sign in and you will be redirected to the Chevron Communications Portal

Please note the communication is specific to a nominated clearance. Information provided should only be in
response to this specific clearance.

Responding to required information requested by Chevron Marine Assurance


1. Once in the portal the subject, details and documents required can be found in the highlighted boxes below.

2. If the highlighted box below has a notification (number other than 0) next to Surveys this is indicative of a survey requiring action. Please move on to
step 2.1, otherwise move to step 3.
2.1. Click on the “Surveys” icon

2.2. Select the Blue arrow (marked in the red box) of the survey being requested to be redirected to the survey questions.
(If there are multiple surveys requested they will show up with multiple arrows).

2.3. Once redirected to the survey, please select the values to each question. Once completed, click the next page Icon (marked in the red box).
(Please note questions with a red asterisks are required values, and you will not be allowed to move to the next page until a value has been
selected).

2.4 Once all fields have been populated, click the submit survey icon to submit the survey and make it read-only.
(If at any point you close out of the survey prior to the submitting the survey, all values populated will be saved).

2.5 Click on the messages tab to provide any final comments regarding the clearance.

3. If the Operator’s response requires an attachment, please click on the icon highlighted in the red box below

3.1 Select the browse icon highlighted below to search local drives for the requested attachment.

3.2 Select the document to be uploaded


3.2.1 When the document is found click on the document
3.2.2 Next click on the open icon

3.3 Click on the upload files icon

3.4 Once uploaded, all operator uploaded attachments will be shown below (1).
To delete all attachments click on the trashcan icon (2).

4. Submit the communications to Chevron Marine Assurance


4.1 Add any comments to Marine Assurance regarding the documentation being forwarded
4.2 Click the Send icon to submit the full communication.

This concludes the Request for additional information, if further information is needed a new email will be sent
