HOW TO WRITE MORNING REPORT
A. Definition
The morning report is a conference on patients in which the medical
professors, residents, and other medical students come together to discuss
patients. In other words, the morning report is a teaching process in which
participants try to solve diagnostic problems by discussing patients. The morning
report was done initially in non-teaching hospitals; doctors and nurses reported
patient treatment problems in writing prior to their shift to the head of the section.
Due to the remarkable achievements of the program in the abovementioned
hospitals, the program currently runs in most teaching hospitals, and the morning
report is considered to be one of the key elements in the training programs of
medical students in teaching hospitals.

B. Purpose

C. Procedure

Procedure 1. Morning report carried out every weekday starting from 07:15 until
07:45 a.m.
2. Morning report is followed by Director / deputy director, Head of
Yanmed, Head of Jangmed, Head of nursing, Head of General Affairs,
Doctor, Nursing Committee, Maternity Coordinator, Child Coordinator
and Adult, HCU and RR Coordinator, ER Emergency Coordinator, OK
Coordinator, Outpatient Section Head, PPKK (Nurse Substitute Head of
Nursing), PJ Shift.
3. Morning report is led by PPKK officers.
4. PPKK officers report all incidents in the hospital for 24 hours, among
others: patients enter, patients go home, patients die, number of patients
referred to, number of patients to date / number of registers, problems
with facilities and infrastructure, hygiene problems, patient complaints,
the patient's actions, the condition of the patient in the entire room and
the state of the nursing staff in the room.
5. If there is a problem immediately in deliberation, then follow up
immediately, which is documented in the minutes of the morning report
to be further discussed in nursing supervision.
