ABSTRACT
This study was designed to determine the perceived impact of online shopping
towards senior high school students. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, descriptive
survey method was used. The respondents of the study are the senior high school students with
the total of three hundred sixty seven (367) students. The sample used Slovin’s formula and it
resulted to three hundred twenty three (323) respondents. The data gathered was analyzed and
interpreted by the researchers. The gathered data shows that most of the statements are somewhat
acceptable by the respondents.
In conclusion, the researchers determined that browsing for a long period of time
improves purchasing decision of the students through online shopping, but most probably, one of
the most significant decisions of the students is their own interest.
The respondents which are the senior high school students revealed that online
shopping effectively influence the purchasing decision of the students as it gives opportunities
for the students to experience shopping online. In addition, the students purchase shoes through
online shopping while they prefer to purchase toys through physical store.
Online shopping give another shopping preference to the students In terms of
purchasing items, online shopping helps students to improve their purchasing decision through
the help of different factors like friends’ recommendation, YouTube influencers and reviewers,
celebrity endorsers, and through family member’s online shopping experience.
