psychological, spiritual, and social development.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS The learner s shall be able to illustrate the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a person’s holistic
development.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES The learners…

2.1 discuss the relationship among physiological, cognitive, psychological, spiritual, and social development to understand

PROCEDURE MEETING LEARNERS’ NEEDS

INTRODUCTION Teacher’s Tip:

Let the entire class read aloud The Story of Two Wolves via powerpoint presentation: 1. What was the story about?

One evening an old man told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said “ My
son, the battle between two wolves inside us all” 2. What were the two wolves that
was said to be inside all of us?
“ It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret,
greed arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, and ego.” He continued, 3. Which wolf will win according to

1. What are your strengths that you want to develop? Write at least 5 words or phrases which
represent aspects about yourself which you like

2. What weaknesses or negative observations about yourself that you want to change? Write at least
5 words of phrases which you consider to be your weakness or areas of improvement.

Play the video of the success story of Norman King, the first Aeta You can also use other success stories of
who graduated in the University of the Philippines. famous personalities like Manny Pacquiao
or Pia Wurtzbach
