1.0 PRELIMINARY
1.2 Authority and plan Provision : The road is newly declared as National Highway No.
361F. starting from Kharwandi-Rajuri-Beed-Parali-
Gangakhed-Loha Road NH361F highway. It is an
important road which connects several districts like
Ahmadnagar, Beed, Parbhani, Nanded & taluka's like
Pathardi, Beed, Wadwani, Majalgaon, Parali,
Gangakhed, Palam, Loha etc. As per instructions given
by SE NH Circle, Aurangabad on their site visit the
untackled Stretch Parali to Gangakhed is now proposed
for partial strengthening.
1.3 Histroy, terrrain, Climate : Plain and rolling terrain, hot climate

5.1 Soil characteristics of Subgrade soil. : Partialy BC and partialy non BC soil.

Total 27,633,669.00
AUTHORITY :- The work is included in the proposed Annual plan for year 2018-19, which is
submitted to MORT & H New Delhi, for state of Maharashtra by Chief
Engineer, National Highway(PW) Navi Mumbai.
PROVISIONS:-
Following are the Provisions made in this estimate.
1) The camber, sunken portion, undulation correction & pot holes will be fill up
with 50 mm thick B.M. with 3.40 % bitumen VG 40 grade with tack coat
0.30kg/Sqm of Bitumen VG 40 Grade. )
2) Providing and laying Hot mix Hot Laid Dense Bituminous Mecadam of 50mm
thickness with 4.50 % of bitumen VG 40 grade & applying tack coat of
Bitumen VG- 40 grade of@ 0.30 kg/Sqm on BT surface
3 Providing and laying Hot mix Hot Laid Bituminous Concrete of 30mm
thickness with 5.20 % of bitumen VG 40 grade & applying tack coat of
Bitumen VG-40 grade of@ 0.25 kg/Sqm on BT surface.
TRAFFIC DATA :- Traffic intensity was 3986 PCU @ Gangakhed calculated in May 2018.
RATE :- The rates adopted in this Estimate are as per the SSR of Maharashtra State
for year 2018-19 w.e.f. 19/09/2018 The Bitumen rates considered in the Estt is
for 1/12/2018.
SPECIFICATIONS :- The work shall be executed as per the Standard Specification laid in the
MORT & H and with the time to time directives of Engineer in Charge.
