Introduction
Nowadays we the Senior High School students belong to the 20 th century or the

electronic age, were technology is much updated. We achieved a lot with the help of

technology, this implies to make technology as positive as possible for humanity and the

environment in the long run. The association of STI College General Santos City made

a software educational app, engaging social networking platform, they called it the e-

Learning Management System (ELMS) Perales, S. (2017).

As such elms have been acknowledged to support learning opportunities and it is

a facility that provides means for education delivery and flexibility for HEIs (Lwoga &

Komba, 2015).

There are remarkable increases in the use of e-learning in multiple areas of

education. The availability of the tools for e-learning gives new opportunities and

mechanism to learners. They can assess reexamine unclear lectures. One advantage is

the developed connection between e-learning and the generation of learners for they

are intellectually developed when it comes to technology. It will be a factor of interest for

the learners (Elman and Schwartz , 2016).

The Misamis University Philippines, developed the supplemental on-line Learning

system named Misamis University – Online Learning Environment (MU-OLE). It was

established to supplement classroom learning in all information technology and

computer science subjects. Hence, the present survey determined the student’s

perception on the effectiveness of the supplemental teaching pedagogy in the teaching

learning of the students in terms of the features, account management, the process of
uploading assignments and activities, account security, and the overall use of the

system.

In STI System, it uses the e – learning Management System (ELMS). This

supplemental tools helps student to Review, study ahead, and catch up on their

assignments wherever, whenever. A change in scenery might even help them absorb

new information better. All they need is an internet connection! Check out the elms on

their smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer, or download the elms app for free.

The study aims to know how effectiveness is the use of e-learning Management

System as supplemental tools in the student learning among senior high school

students of STI College General Santos.

Statement of the problem

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of e-learning Management System

as supplemental tools in the student learning among senior high school students of STI

College General Santos.

Significance of the study

Students- This study will help the students to know the effectiveness of the e-
learning management system (ELMS) as a supplementary tool.

Teachers- This study will help them to know the useful of e-learning
management system (ELMS) to their students.

Institution- This study would provide learning, encouraging students to

conduct researches.

Future Researcher- For them to have references data that could useful on their
researchers for studies related education.

Scope of Delimitation of the study

This study aims to know the effectiveness of the e-learning management

system (ELMS) as a supplemental tool in the student learning among senior high school
students of STI College General Santos.
